Oh, the good old days. The series just went downhill after CoD2. While the story of CoD4 sure was immersive and all, the multiplayer seemed a bit pointless in the long run. CoD5 World at War had such a repetitive story that I didn't even bother to finish the game. With MW2 Insanity Ward did their best to rip off PC gamers big time... And I doubt Treyarch's Black Ops could bring the series back to its old glory.

i`m 14 and i`ve played ALL the COD games....my friends only started to play COD because of the online, it REALY annoys me when they call them self COD fans, when they started playing the series in COD 4 O_O

i had COD 1 for gamecube, big red one for GC (cod 2 didn`t come for GC) , cod 3 for xbox and COD 4, 5 and 6 for xbox =D

@megasupermatt Activision was gonna fire the 2 executives from IW so they quit before it happened. Then some employees left and some got fired and eventually poof, it's gone. I heard some devs from IW went over to EA (and here comes Activision with a lawsuit lol)

so Treyarch is handling CoD Black Ops, from the trailers it's looking good. Atleast the multiplayer stuff looks good, I'm not sure what they're doing with the campaign.
