Thats the way I do my 104" '79, knee on the saddle, kick through. My dogs are gone when she pops over though. They don't like that noisy thing. Grin. Nice scooter, ride safe.

among various things the main reason is that the rocker covers (silver things on the top of the V) clearly visible at 0:43 are said to look like the spade of a shovel

yeah, the handlebars are one piece mini apes and sit around 24" off the headlight housing, they are mounted with a standard 4 bolt clamp. keep in mind you'll have to change your front brake/clutch line and throttle cable because of the hight. The seat is made by mustang, standard solo seat for that year it comes with mounting hardware.
