  • I'd burry another soul 6 feet under for a '79 that looked like that.

  • sweet ride bubba ... you got to love it ...

  • Yellow labs, Harleys, and Bruce Springsteen...

What more could a fella ask for?

  • Beautiful bike and great sound..

  • beautiful bike and cute dog

  • Thank you kindly, fell in love with her the first day I saw her, the bike's not bad either.

  • What is actually Shovelhead? I don't understand, is it one Harley's model (Does it have another name then?)? Or what?..

  • Mhh, it is Engine's name?

  • among various things the main reason is that the rocker covers (silver things on the top of the V) clearly visible at 0:43 are said to look like the spade of a shovel

  • Awesome looking bike!!! I bought an 82 FLH a couple of months ago and have been trying to figure out what to do with it as far as changes. I was wondering what it would look like stripped down a bit. :-)

  • what mods to do you make to avoid oil leaks. Wnat to know since I may buy an '84 shovel

  • ...they all eventually leak, half the fun is fixing them....thats what shovel owners do. Turn a wrench.

  • Well done, someone who knows the right way to kick a Harley!!! From the side not straddling it,Obviously a man of experience!Sound bike, shovels just sound so good.

  • yup, from that angle you can kick it with a pair of torn flipflops and shorts. ...........confidence.

  • Very clean looking and healthy sounding shovel. Love it.

  • VERY NICE !!!!

    Walland,TN

  • Sweet!!!!!

  • I love that FLH you've got there, a real black beauty with a fantastic and healthy sound. Greetings from Switzerland!!

  • thank you kindly.

  • Nice!! Can you tell me what handlebars (size, mounting hardware) and saddle that is? Looking to upgrade my '79. Thanks

  • yeah, the handlebars are one piece mini apes and sit around 24" off the headlight housing, they are mounted with a standard 4 bolt clamp. keep in mind you'll have to change your front brake/clutch line and throttle cable because of the hight. The seat is made by mustang, standard solo seat for that year it comes with mounting hardware.

    Cheers!

  • Thanks very much, I really appreciate the info. Great looking bike!!

    Tom
