    everybody out there!

  • itz a pedobear

  • Lost Tapes: Van Lake Monster. Thumbs if thaat wood be epick!

  • this footage may be fake, but if there is a monster, I hope it's okay after the earthquake! :(

  • kinda looks like the head of an elephant XD

  • It's a sturgeon lol

  • was this shot with a potato

  • @StansStudio it was taken in 1997

  • @PkkFreedomFighter See, this is the kind of attitude why you're all brainwashed. You don't have the ability to make reasonable decisions. Just because you have been taught Turkish soldiers are terrorists since you were small doesn't make it a fact. Ever stop and though about what you're doing? Pkk is a terrorist group, they brainwashed you and made you believe into non-sense. Kurdish people live happily in Turkey, but members of PKK kill innocent babies and terrorize so that's why we fight back.

  • @PkkFreedomFighter Btw, the country is ruled by the people on top of it, not soldiers. How is it than even some of you guys getting elected, you guys are still going by your terrorist ways rather than trying to co-operate? You guys don't see the sence in anything. Everything I say you will go "die die mongols blaurghhh". Grow up and get a life you terrorist.

  • @PkkFreedomFighter 13 Soldiers died who were just doing their job. You terrorists killed them. How can you idiots call our soldiers terrorists when you guys are the terrorists. You are fucking brain-washed. Go get educated idiot. We are just mindind our own business when you terrorists attack us, and when we return fire it makes us terorrorists? BULLSHIT. You are a scum.

  • @PkkFreedomFighter Hahahahahhaha? Pkk and freedom used in the same sentence? Go get educated you mountain gorilla. Yes, Turks ancestors are from middle-Asia and we are proud of it. So, I don't see what you're trying to do by syaing Mongol. To be honest, Mongols living in Mongolia are the kinds of humans you guys will never will be, they don't kill innocent babies like you terrorists. Again, the devil is waiting for you on the other side.

  • @PkkFreedomFighter You know, it already is obvious that you have mental problems by just looking at your username. pkk is a terrorist group and there is nothing about "freedom" in it. Your name would be more accurate as PkkTerroristFighter. TURKey belongs to TURKS. Turks will kill all of you baby-killers.

  • @PkkFreedomFighter There is not a thing called kurdistan. You PKK pigs will be eliminated one day. You fucking terrorists. You baby killing terrorists. The devil is waiting for you in the next world.

  • @PkkFreedomFighter Fuck you, go and rape yourself ya mountain troll. Van is TURKISH.

  • the bubbles keep exhaling its not real.

  • Prehistoric my ass. If anything, that's some escaped seagoing mammal.

  • Many ppl write here it's an elephant..Although elephants can swim, this variant looks very easy to explain all such sea unknown creatures. This lake has been famed due to its monsters for many centuries. To my mind it's a species of officially extinct some prehistoric beings maybe a zeuglodont or some kind of plesiosaurus.

  • thats a god damn elephant

  • this is real..

  • just because evidence seems too good, it doesn't mean its fake

  • that is so fake

  • @zachHu1 not fake douche bag

  • @ajendra456 how is that not fake

    DaHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • Did you guys see the "Destination Truth" episode regarding the Lake Van monster? They went out to investigate it (at night, as they usually do) and during the day time people were waning them not to go out there because something was in the lake. They DID manage to catch a thermal vision glimpse of something in the water, it bumped their boat and whatever it was it was enormous. The strangest thing is that Lake Van is a fresh water lake.

  • @justinwithajay dude, if you even watch that show and believe a second of it, i feel bad for you. I believe in this thing, but that show is the ultimate joke. All they do is point the cameras at themselves saying "oh look at that" but they never show it and you can never see it. Definitely the worst of the fake mystery shows...like the fox news of that segment of TV lol

  • @justinwithajay Lake Van is salt water bro.

  • This is fairly impressive yet let us face it. Why don't people see this everyday? And if people did why aren't there a lot of these videos?

  • Yes it does look like an elephant but ask yourself this, why in the world is there an elephant swimming in a lake in turkey? there are no wild elephants in turkey. Furthermore it seems like the trunk is underwater which would mean it would drown... Idk to me it seems highly unlikely that it is an elephant, but I have no other clue as to what it could be so thats my only guess for right now.

  • Cthulhu fhtagn!

  • oh my god.....i can't believe how these people are so stupid to think its an elephant =.=

  • it's an elephant swimming correct

  • @juliusluna STUPID!! its not an elephant WTF would an elephant be doing in a turkish lake???!! u people are so bloody daft.-___-

  • Yep, that's definitely an Elephant

  • @tnic469 dumass.

  • @tnic469 dumass.STFU!!!

  • A fact that turks will NEVER state about this lake:

This lake is 400,000 years old and is an Armenian lake, not turkish lake. It IS on Armenian soil (land). Akhtamar church is still up and in great condition in the middle of the lake. turks steal anything and claim it is theirs.

  • Canavar is it´s name,I think it´s a large sturgeon.

  • @zoilo92 canavar means monster in turkish xD

  • @trig1907 Thanks,i didn´t know...

  • @zoilo92 I don't think Sturgeons come up to the surface for air.

  • @GamingGenius There is a candidate for this,and it´s a Zeuglodonte.Similar to Ogopogo.You´re right,it isn´t a sturgeon,because the eye isn´t that of a fish.But remember this word:ZEUGLODONTE.The original sea serpent.

  • it looks like a water dinosaur

  • as much as I would like to believe that there is a large, aquatic dinosaur-like monster residing within the saline waters of Lake Van, I have to be realistic. There is no possible way that something that enormous could go undetected for so long and be able to easily elude so many people...it's just not possible.

  • @oreoswirl7 Why isn't it possible? You don't know all the waters of this world and how something can or cannot be detected. You're so very narrowminded, you know?

  • @PIRATESOFTHEC3 You're right, I don't know the waters of the world. In fact, human beings know more about outer space thatn we do our oceans and lakes. I'm just speaking from my own personal opinion. I would love to hear on the news about evidence supporting the existence of the Lake Van Monster, but I doubt that will happen within my lifetime...But stranger things have happened, so who knows?

  • @oreoswirl7 Clearly your the expert on these things So tell me Sherlock In minus freezing degrees that no one swims in and an island with a fairly large cavern Tell how it couldnt and where is the proof that it is not there. Enlighten me. It would be selfish of us to think that we know everything that is impossible and that nothing can survive to what we can not see.

  • @MsLovleySorrow I am not, nor have I once professed to be an "expert," because I am most certainly am NOT. All I am doing is merely excercising my First Admendment right at Freedom of Speech. There could very well possibly be an uknown, cryptic animal dwellling at the bottom of Lake Van--it's possible. Anything is possible. Lake Van is one of the World's Largest Lakes, so it could habitate a large, aquatic animal. All I'm saying is that *I* probably won't see it in my lifetime.

  • @oreoswirl7 I apologize ur right everyone has an opinion lol Comment fights Idk I didnt mean to offend I was just had a bitch moment XD

  • @MsLovleySorrow Don't worry about it--we all have moments like that. :c)

  • i love see cryptid videos like this

  • wtf a monster is a monster? no they think its a Ichthyosaurus, an extinct prehistoirc creature. theres being a skeptic and then theres being ignorant like most of you, none of these cryptozoological creatures are supposed to be monsters, their suppopsed to be things that were at one time very real and now thought to be extinct or something completely undiscovered. there are water serpent and bigfoot sightings on every continent in almost every region.

  • watched this episode last night on destination truth such a sick episode with contact with it of it hitting there boat!!

  • Well, some experts and skepticers declare, that it's a whale, because of the bubbles in front of the hump, which means, that it's an air-breathing "animal" we're dealing with. But I'm sure about one thing: Whales can't survive in lakes, and the way it is moving fast around in circle-like shapes is also unfamiliar for a whale-kind.

  • @Kidholm96 It may be a kind of whale or A new species or a prehistoric creature. No one can really know. I mean, There are many things we still do not know about earth and we only claim things we do know on things we dont. Fear is stradegy in this.

  • Is looks like platapusisis ( a platapus)

  • Poorly done hoax. This thing looks like it is being pulled along by something out of camera range.

Also notice the close up. It looks exactly like what it probably is--a carved piece of wood. No moving musculature at all.

IMO another attempt to create a tourist trap destination to boost the local economy.

  • @Cissy2cute Well it didn't boost the local economy whatsoever, so you're wrong.

  • @PIRATESOFTHEC3 - Why would you come to that conclusion? The fact that it didn't boost the tourism shows that probably a lot of people noticed its resemblance to a carved piece of wood. Would you travel halfway around the world on the basis of this video? It looks like what it probably is-an inanimate object. Not many outsiders were buying the story.

  • I for one do not believe in monsters. I would love for it to be true, but I do not believe. Until someone, somewhere, somehow gets a way better video, or underwater shot, Im not believing it. And giant squids are just large squids, but a monster...is a monster. The former is easier to believe and has been proven, notice the much easier one to prove has been proven. But hey if a monster exists youll see me glad, look at my name, I love horror.

  • alright.

    for one

all of you are immature fucks

im pretty sure this proofs the belief of the monster

    i mean come on

we didnt think the giant octopus was real till recently

    same as rogue waves

    so quit being closed minded

  • I watched destination truth and they dont know what it is but they said it may be a hoax because the breathing level is striaght bubbles and no in and out breathing, but hey y'never know! :D

  • i agree that it certainly looks real, but an elephant is the only other thing that could explain it, elephants have been known to venture out in to water even in the ocean so its not something i would rule out.

  • This video proves it 100% .. the monster is real ... I am sooo scared ....

Omfg what kind of cretin would believe this.

  • its my dog sorry his just swimming xD

  • also the issue with this being "an elephant"... elephants don't live in Turkey!!

  • yeh they do they just live in underwater caverns

  • only God knows :D

  • explain tht shit!!

  • its nt an elephant ffs...the water is so deep how could the elephant even surface..obviously it must had been the sea monster

  • This is not an elephant. Elepants skin appears much darker when wet and the head shape is different.

  • It is not an elephant. See how long the body is. And elephants dont ever move through the water like that.

It is either real monster OR a hoax

  • there was a show about this on tv tonight and they talked about the fish in the lake there is only one kind that gets up to 8 inches. then they picked up the "monster" in the lake with infra red camera. first off if it is a cold blooded animal it would be the same temp as the water, and if it was a warm blooded animal it would die in the water because it was snowing out so wtf is it?

  • yes there is a "monster" in this lake but this vid is nothing more than a damn elephant

  • I didn't know Elephants live in Turkey... That's weird haha. I thought it looked like a squid.

  • ITS OBVIOUSLY A PENGUIN GEEZ

  • yeah...obviously...in a LANDLOCKED country thousands of miles away from the south pole?

  • i wanna say it's an elephant, but it's in turkey and they don't have elephants there

  • don't worry folks it's just my penis..

    jk I WANT TO BELIEVE!

  • omg rofl!!

  • He's looking at you with that big eyeball of his.

  • ya sıktırın gıdın beee gercekle alakası yoq ayrıca sıkıcam o canavarıda aq adam gıbı gozuk lan yarramın antenı kacıo saklanıo bısler tam orospu xd

  • I've always had an interest in cryptozoology and I believe this video is authentic. What it is I'm not sure, but I pretty sure its not a hoax. My personal belief is that when the last ice age ended lake Van was connected to the sea. A species of whale that lived within lake Van became trapped as the waters receded. The whale theory comes about due to the beak-like nose. Any the species is probably small due to evolution and not sighted much due to the remoteness of the lake.

  • finaly someone else who has an interest in cryptozoology and doesnt think everything is a hoax

  • @Necros212 right? those dumass skeptics. im so tired of them saying, "thts so fake, thts so dumb, thts soo not reel"wen the proof in rite under their noses. like seriously. wake the f*ck up!!!!

  • @Necros212 turkey... why dont they make another country called chicken? LOL. :D

  • @Necros212 yes finnaly!!!

  • @Necros212 its a beautiful thing.

  • @Necros212 I know i try telling my friends about this stuff and they just laugh saying that stuff isn't real its all fake.but im a believer.

  • Its not an elephant! Look up an elephant swimming on google and youll see THE TRUNK IT UP! Those bubbles are coming from nostriles close to the eyes. Plus, why the heck would their be a random elephant swimming in Van Lake, they dont exist naturally anywhere near that area, nor do any Turkish zoos.

  • yeah, I'm sure to take your word for it. >__>

Yep, there's a fucking elephant swimming around in a lake in turkey......

Do you have any idea how fucking stupid you sound? Seriously.

That can't even be considered skepticism, mainly because of the fact that anyone with a shred of common sense who has seen an elephant could clearly tell that that is not a fucking elephant.

But please, do go on. May I ask, what color is it? Pink, purple, indigo, rainbow perhaps?

    GOD YOU'RE FUCKING DUMB.

  • oh yep its an elephant, with a dorsal fin and no trunk out of the water to breath, mabey its a sea elephant

  • ahahhaha siktirin lan ahahhaha

  • Its not a log. Very interesting, especially the "front" portion. I just hope the Turkish authorities or scientists DO NOT try to capture it or harm it in any other way.

It seems that these beings venture into freshwater lakes, stay for a while, and then leave again through river systems. This would explain why it might not have been seen before now, and why it disappears after a time.

I'd like to know how deep this lake is.

  • Gölde canavar aramayın boş verin Van'ın insanı Canavar gibidir. Van'da insanı da doğunun incisi
