Federer is sadly the last of a dying breed of players these days.  Today's game is all about power and topspin from the baseline. I think Federer will be the last man to ever play in the top 10 with a one-handed backhand, and one of the last great volleyers who looks to come to the net during the point

I hope he continues for a few more years. He's so much more fun to watch than anyone else on the tour that when he retires, tennis will lose it's greatest player, hands down.
