The only thing Iranians will for ever be grateful to the US for (IF US had anything to do with it), was to support Iranians bring back their Shah from exile in 1953.
Furthermore, Iranians will start liking the US again, if US spported our nation to return constitutional monarchy as the beginning of a truly democratic estate after 32 years of tyranny by the Islamic Republic.
