  • stole is a strong word. I think each art builds on the other, nothing is really new under the sun.

  • i thought this said yoshimitsu jujitsu

it would have been funny since he actually does no some shit called 'manji jujitsu'

  • @sharkfinnigan and BJJ is basicly a SPORT...this tells all...

  • @sharkfinnigan :Look at "Combat Jujitsu street defense" vid, and the comments to UNDERSTAND what I say..

  • @ sharkfinnigan as I just said , you have to interpreter in the proper way what peopel say, otherwise YOU show to be the RETARD one...!!!!! jajajaj (LOL) Bye Bye

  • FIRST OF ALL think about your brain's capèacities, before telling retard to someon else...i fact You dind't understand what i said..BJJ is NOT one of the best arts to face several opponents at the same time, other rtas like systema, kung fu, karate, silat are better for this situation, even the same bjj competitors honestly adimt it ! Now yo uderstand it ? RETARD:::?

  • STill....BJJ can be good vs ONE opponent, but if you have several opponents in front of you ?

  • @andyitaliano1 then run you retard, if you have more than one person making it clear that they want to hurt you then dont be there, i dont care if you look like a pharmacy strenght body builder and have black belts in everything, still just dont be there, its not a good place

  • @newtubetubetube GINO BIANCHI didn't have the arrogance or a NAtionalist spirit to call it Italian Jujitsu, 'cause he was as good as humble, and he knew that Jujitsu is always originally basicly japanese....

  • @newtubetubetube There is a very good style of ju-jitsu made and created in Italy called MEtodo Bianchi. Gino Bianchi was an italian MArine Officer staying in japan during the second world war, he's been teached Ju jitsu during the 30's and 40's overhtere, when back in Italia he has been teaching it and open dojos teaching this style, quite efficent and spectacular and the same time, try to search it on youtube here, or in some site,,,,

  • @newtubetubetube : you are totally right !!!!! BJJ is a kind of NAtionalism put in martial arts, to let you believe they invented something new,, at the end of the story they ONLY do judo (standing up) and a kind of wrestling with grappling when they're on the ground..THAT'S ALL !! TRUE JU-JITSU WILL ALWAYS BE JAPANESE (THE BEST ONE AND THE MORE COMPLETE)

  • nice

  • ...i do think it is kinda hapkido-ish especially with that strike above the shoulder

  • that was great...the second time he did it on the opposite side you could really see the martial effectiveness of the technique

  • like it..similar to silat system and technique.. strike at first and then graps to the ground..

this ju-jit su are good..NOT like BJJ.. BJJ are suck!!

  • @leopurpleman Agreed, BJJ stand for Bullshit Ju Jutsu. Very good video here, ★★★★☆!

  • @newtubetubetube IF YOU THINK BJJ IS BULLSHIT, WHY DON'T YOU GO TO ANY LOCAL BJJ DOJO IN YOUR AREA TO TEST YOUR SKILLS, AND I REALLY MEAN ANY BJJ DOJO. YOU WILL HAVE A TIME OF YOUR LIFE TRYING TO SURVIVE.

  • @daniels37 Survive? The goal of BJJ is to win money and trophy while following a set of rules. BJJ is a combat sport. Claiming it is martial art is bullshit. Your proposal to visit BJJ schools and rudely provoke anyone in deadly duel only show how ignorant you are. Also, what with the caplock? One would expect a keyboard warrior to have mastered all this keyboard's keys.

  • @newtubetubetube YOU CAN SAY THE SAME FOR THE OTHER BULLSHIT SO CALLED TRADITIONAL SCHO0LS OF MARTIAL ARTS SCHOOL IN AMERICA SUCH. AND BY THE WAY, YOU SHOULD NOT BE FOCUSING ON MY TYING SKILL BUT, FOCUSING ON THE MESSAGE. IT APPEARS YOU ARE TRYING TO TAKE A CHEAP SHOT AT ME.LIKE I SAID, GO TEST YOUR SKILLS AND YOU WILL KNOW THE TRUTH.

  • @newtubetubetube lad, thats the goal of sport bjj,the art of bjj is for self defense and still is in some schools. Its specialised for single combat though and has no possible strategy for multiple attackers, striking is a better option in most situations.

  • @newtubetubetube "I did not create a sport: i created a style of self defense. The style I created is designed to give the weak ones a chance to defeat the strong and the heavy."--Helio Gracie

  • @odessaboy Bullshit. BJJ is Judo with a few western wrestling techniques, he did not create anything. And 'give the weak ones a chance to defeat the strong' is a claim of Judo made in 1882 . Hélio Gracie stoled the work of Kano Jigoro at a time Judo was not well know in Brazil. eg: He fail to give proper credit for what he taught.

  • @newtubetubetube so true

  • @odessaboy Helio's quote is only true if the weak guy knows BJJ, and the bigger guy doesn't know anything. The Gracies always say that their art is designed for the smaller guy to beat the bigger opponent. Yet, when they comment about Helio's loss to Kimura, they always say, "Kimura outweighed Helio by 50 lbs." I thought it didn't matter how much bigger your opponent is??

  • @newtubetubetube well in all fairness bjj isnt jujitsu at all,its a specialised form of judo that is especially effective at match fighting, its without doubt the best for that situation but that happens infrequently.Theres a massive problem with jap jujitsu not doing any resisted sparring ,thats why judoka can still do well in mma and they dont.Depasquales elite student tony fryklund is an mma fighter and has never been able to use anything he learnt in jap jitsu.

  • @billysue2 There is no such thing as "jap jujitsu". Jujutsu is always Japanese. As you said, BJJ is a lame ripoff of judo. Some Brazilian twit made up a Brazilian name out of arrogant nationalistic pride. The technique work either the opponent resit or not. In fact, the technique would be pointless if it can only be use against midget. Resistance and force is irrelevant.

  • @newtubetubetube whether bjj is the correct tem or not its still known as jujitsu so jap jitsu is a distinguishing name for short.BJJ is no lame rip off,its developed beyond what prewar judo was in newaza and match fighting. The point is that many techs in jap style dont work because they arent practised against resistance, imagine a judoka or wrestler whose partners never fought back, theyd be useless which is what many jujitsu techs are

  • @billysue2 There is noting Brazilian in BJJ, It is judo mixed with European wrestling. The mix is fine, they can call it Brazilian wrestling if they want. JuJutsu is always Japanese. If practicing a foreign art is too unpatriotic, then don't. Putting "Brazilian" in the name to appeal the uneducated bigots of Brazil is unacceptable. This is why i will continue to refer BJJ as BullshitJuJutsu.

  • @newtubetubetube the whole emphasis on vale tudo and fighting other styles is entirely brazilian as are the methods and strategies used for it.Also sport bjj has lots of techniques and set ups youll never see in judo, which were developed mostlyin the last few decades since comps grew more popular.I agree that bjj isnt jujitsu,a better name would be brazilian judo

  • @billysue2 Also don't mix up traditional jujutsu and aiki. Aiki apply in any budo or bujutsu. Sadly it is far beyond what a BJJ body builder can understand.

  • @newtubetubetube i was talking specifically not aikido, not the concept of aiki.Bodybuilders in bjj are a very rare thing but you certainly need to be strong and fit for any combat with a trained opponent, another thing trad jujitsu misses the point on.

  • @billysue2 If you use force you miss the point. The technique are use to defeat stronger opponent by nullifying its advantage(it's strength).

  • @leopurpleman any art with full resistance and contact training will always be better for any fighting than those that dont.Wrestling, bjj, judo, thaiboxing are superior methods with tougher characters than karate, jap jitsu and aikido for that reason despite the former being sports.

  • when people say

You never take your eyes off the opponent

I wonder if they are aware of peripheral vision and how effective imploying peripheral vision is especially in a fight

by the way this is a great teacher.I have no criticism for him.I will just watch how he does things and take it all in

  • Hi Bobby,

Taking your eyes off of anyone shows lack of awareness.

    See you in Decemeber.

    Tom

  • Just an observation. It is disrespectful to look at your partner while bowing, Or it shows that you do not trust them. Its an old tradition.

  • @aikidokadokandojo you could say its disrespectful to greet someone without looking at them

  • A beautiful technique. Since watching the video I've been working on this with my Hapkido practice group. It has a very Hapkido-ish flavor to it.

  • i feel sorry for that kid in white
