  • @MrPrazil Yes. at least 2-3 inches. :)

  • @MrPrazil What else are you going to plant in? Unless you do an all moss and/or all plant-growing-on-wood tank.

  • when I'm aquascaping I get so freaking mad if people touch my supplies :)

  • 5 minute video of guys playing with sticks, shouldve used more space in tank

  • 9 ppl helping and it still look like poo

  • XD

  • haha - this looks like city workers at its best

  • its funny how ppl get distracted by the other fish tank lol

and also the guy in the blue hat eating in the begining haha

    but very nice tank

  • @masterxgt

Thanks for the comment. Right now the Narrow leaf Java Fern on the left side has more than doubled for the second time since set up in Nov 09. I need to get in there and cut out half of it. This tank has Mineralized Soil and I don't fertilize at all. It is very low maintenance.

That 75 gallon tank on the left was only temporary while the new tank was being set up. It is gone now.

  • Damn! Doesn't take 9 ppl to set it up!

  • @cahernand1 You miss the point of the project. It was a club meeting. We were having a fun time. It wasn't a contest for speed set ups, like an ironman aquascaping contest.

  • the fish is swiming like wild

  • 10 pepole lol aqua

  • @wildnotmild1 I forgot to add the black trim was added to the glass canopy, locally collected rocks with a lot of character were donated by a member. This tank is very low maintenance. I have only changed water 4 times since Nov 2009, 30-40% each time. No fertilizers at all, no trace elements. Very little algae. Recently hacked the Narrow Leaf Java Fern in half. The piece remaining is 2-3 times the size seen in this video. It was shading out my C. usteriana and C. affinis. Light 2 wpg, 12 hr/day

  • @wildnotmild1 Thanks. This tank was set up by my local plant club, NJ Aquatic Gardeners Club. We had a fun meeting. We set the tank up from bare glass: installed plumbing, set up CO2, Mazzei Injector, Ehiem 2262 canister filter, made Mineralized Soil, Rinsed off soaked Manzanita wood, decorated, ate food, shot the breeze, and had a really good time. The goal was not to see how fast we could set up this tank. Most of the plants were donated by members. I bought C. parva, C. affinis.

  • @jerrytheplater The Mineralized Soil is seen in the first three seconds of the video as dried cracked MS before it was ground to powder and mixed with home made clay.

  • lmaooo!! this is funny!

  • rofl and it still looks like shite

  • This is a planted aquarium. Takes a little longer than most think. You have to take into consideration growth patterns and such. Again, you're all very young.

  • Joke: how many people does it take to set up an aquarium?

  • @KingBonacci lmao 1 am 14 and i set up 2 tanks on my own and it takes 8 people in dis vid to set up one
