Thanks, yeah summer wasn't that hot this year, just dry.Its a pity the Kooka was so still in the video,only moments before, he was doing that laugh they are so famous for. Sometimes we get 4 at a time all laughing together. The noise is incredible. One time I saw one of them gently open its beak and place it over the others beak. It was sort of like a kiss. It was not an aggressive thing as it was done slowly and the other did not object, and seemed to just receive it,as though it was afection.
You are so lucky to have these birds on your balcony. Unfortunately, we don't have these birds in Canada. :(
