We were so glad to have met Mac, he was a very wonderful person. We are all very sorry for your loss, and wish there were something we could to to ease you and your family at this time of such great loss.
We were happy to have had him visit, and to have given him something to smile about, and wish that he could come back and see us again. He is missed.
Thank you to the guys at Roscoe Guitars for granting a wish on my father's bucket list. I was glad to be apart of the experience and watching this video makes me smile and realize how much I love him and how he will truly be missed...
I can't believe this video! It's funny how everyone gets to work once there's a video camera in the woodshop. Mac was talking when that kid fired up the planer. I was interested in hearing what Mac had to say and that Purpleheart/Planer kid stoled the show. I could not help but cringe as I noticed Mac's unprotected ears. It's okay though, I can read lips.
Well, I think you mistake the fact that people are setting things up and prepping things as "not working". Rest assured that the guys in the shop are always putting out 100% effort. The "kid" firing up the planer is in his mid 30's by the way. ;-)
As for Mac, sadly just a few months after this was recorded, he passed away from heart failure. He was one of the nicest people we've ever known, and it is a very sad thing he is gone, but we're happy to still have his face and words on this video.
