i bought this phone and it rocks. its feature lies under its hood. it has a special software, wherein you could could copy virtually any type of movie format from pc to your w960i phone and the software will compress the original size from 300 to 1000%. Imagine, its like having an 80 gigs memory for movies alone.

the W960 has dual pic taking ability 1 on front and 1 on back. the W960 has soooooo much more to offer than the LG viewty, my mate owns one and its not as good as everyone makes out.

w960i has camera at front also, 8 GB internal memory! everything in it is amazing. contraversially, the camera is not so good.. the viewty is the one to ge if you are looking for camera.. w960i has a new walkman feature - bassbox. this means it is very loud with crisp sound quality.

If you just want to put some songs or a video into the phone then yes, it would work. But if you want to put more songs or a movie into the phone then you'll need the software.
