  • I wish you would upload the popular old ad with a sheep herding a lot of Border Collies (Who Let the Dogs Out?.) Please please please upload it!

  • the other day i lost my little pet hamster, he is small and orange in colour and a little fluffy.. He answers to the name Rambo, pkease can you find him for me?

  • When I first saw the ad, I thought the guy was LOOKING for his DOG ... and when I saw the woman go "That's my dog" and cry and hug him I was like, "OMG that's so heartwarming!"

  • <3

  • The ad is beautifull but very offensive, this is exploitation of Christianity and the Bibel to se sell products and worse it is a direct quote of words Jesus said. Seems like FNB thinks they ar God/Jesus we all know they will never help you find your dog or do anything besides banking business> The sad thing is that the ad would have been off the air if Muslims complained like the ad with the pigs a few years back, I will close my FNB account as soon as possible.

  • Actually a cynical add by a Bank that doesn't practise what it preaches - and yes I am one of your "customers" The add itself is good but would be put to better use by a church maybe?

  • geez

  • wheres the edited versions?

  • Brilliant ad, this is such a good concept and well filmed! Not a big fan of the kind of voice they went for with the narration though. Anyone know where I can get the piece of music that plays in the background???

  • this is such a brilliant ad

  • Wow...this so touching. how did you come up with such a brilliant advert? I like it.

  • I think this ad is AWFUL! I could perhaps understand if it was an ad for the SPCA or Wetnose... but for FNB? You just have to have a look at a website like "Hello Peter" to see that FNB are feeding the public a load of hogwash. Stooping to a new low using cute animals or children to sell your product. I am also very uncomfortable with the "8 Beatitudes of Jesus Christ" crib. Not original. Not clever.

  • best add in a long time!!! i cried my eyes out... even hugged my dog until she couldnt breath anymore!!! im moving to fnb!!!!

  • You know what breaks the emotional connection of this ad, the lame FNB jingle at the end!! POOR!!!! #stupid. Lost all that emotional connection they worked so hard to create over the 1min25sec before the logo swiped in - which also sucked!

  • This is advert makes me sick. Go snort another line you assholes.

Blessed and banks do no go together. God fuck!!!!!!!!

  • This is probably THE greatest ad that SA has made in a long time. I saw it for the first time this morning whilst watching Weekend Live. Very Emotional and Powerful. Well done FNB and the creators of this ad.

Anúncio ‘FNB Dog’ do First National Bank.

  • Lol. I live in the place the ad was made. and so it makes me even more "feel-good" than normal since its the kind of things people living in the area where the ad was made actually do. they actually do things like that. its an amazing ad, and an amazing concept that was done 110%. Thats why i bank there. . .

  • Wow! How can an ad make you feel so emotionally involved? Brilliantly done FNB. Ill remember this AD for a long long time...

  • thank you for making me stronger.

i've been crying over my missing iguana. . . .

and i really wish that someone will bring it back to me...

    this short movie made me cry. .. . . ( : _ ; )

  • powerful

  • I've never cried so much in my life. Amazing!

  • This is not a commercial... It's a 90 second film... Well Done FNB! South African advertising for the win!

  • i know...the dog ran into the night in search of a pair of levi's(go forth) so he could wear them to a bowling alley, like an after hours athlete(puma) and call his rescuer on his Nokia(fairy tale) cell phone. Weirdly enough I don't mind the shameless use of an animal to win its viewers harts but its the pretentious, highly referenced, try -hard treatment that hammers the tone into a very desperate, soulless place, the very thing it needed. Lots of back slapping I'm sure.
