no you don't get any remotes with it, but you only need one remote for the microphone. The instruments are used as a controller.

No!.... all instruments work fine... i have rock band 1 drum kit and guitar and microphone, and in rb2 you can use guitar hero guitar with a wiimote plugged in... theres no problem with anything. go get it!

on the wii, no. the wii version of rock band 1 only plays with the rock band/rock band 2 instruments. for xbox 360/ps3 versions of rock band 1, the les paul is usable

Well...2 things.

1. Never played 360, so I honestly can't compare.

2. Not using the RB2 kit.

However, seeing that you played at a store where it gets excessive use daily, it probably had to do with crazy people bashing on 'em. Chances are, you won't get the problem with your own set. Haven't heard any complaints from anyone regarding that.

In my opinion, RB2 is a better band experience, and the online play is better (4 Wiis are better than 2 xD). There is a DLC store in both games, however, RB2's isn't up as of yet. The only instrument that requires a Wiimote for RB instruments would be the mic for navigation. You'll still need a Wiimote for each instrument if you use WT instruments on RB2.

Nope, they don't have that feature for the Wii version.

Here's why it doesn't work for Wii: On 360, you would get an update for RB1 that would give you a code to put in RB2 which would allow the songs to be transfered. It also costs $5. It doesn't work on Wii because you can't update games.

Guitar hero world tour is a better band experience. The only thing that GHWT can improve is the vocals, But everything else is perfect.

imo ghwt is better, chart are hard, awesome solos, online is kinda weird but it works.... rb2 is just the presentation, but i dont really look at the fake ppl playing it, i look at the chart and play....

rb2 is a marvel at presentation tho, cause this is the exact thing that is on the ps3, they just reduce the amount of polygons and less resolution. and keep all the physics and movement, which is awesome considering this is the wii.

I'm guessing you have the RB set? I only picked up the disk of RB2, and I am using the World Tour instruments. I can't really suggest anything to you, seeing that I haven't played on the RB drum sets. I'm sorry.

i would recommend rb drums, the cymbals in ghwt are not good. the arm length from the drum pads are not far enough, i personally would just remove them if i can lol.

but if u can play without the symbals on the ghwt drums... ghwt pads are MUCH better.

Gameplay is great, I love it. Very user friendly. Only songs from RB1 will be the DLC, but technically DLC is "universal". But as for "On disk" songs, we won't be seeing that, sadly =(.

Yes, I use GHWT instruments (Except the guitar, I prefer my GH3 Les Paul, regardless, the WT guitar works). GH:WT instruments/GH3 guitar does work with RB2, but RB2/RB1 instruments do NOT work with WT.

RB2 simply just ignores the orange cymbal on the WT kit. There are videos of other versions (360/PS3) of people using the WT kit on RB2, its the same case here.

I bought the WT bundle, and the disk only of RB2. Many online places confirm that the GH controllers work with RB2, including IGN. I researched the game on the internet before purchase, to make sure what I have is compatible. I'll try to make a video for *proof*, but may not be able to if I can't get my camera in a proper angle to see both the TV and controller.

When I said all instruments are compatible, I meant all. Includes the WT drums (which I used to navigate throughout this video), the microphone, the WT guitar, and GH3 Les Paul guitar. I play RB2 with an all GH instrument set-up, I 100% confirm and guarantee everything that is GH Wii works in RB2.
