@chaclapa You are the ignorant one. Metallica existed before Mustaine came along. Mustaine just wrote a few of the songs and wasn't in the band that long. Venom was not that huge an influence on Dave that it radically affected who he became. Diamond Head was a much greater influence on Metallica, especially since they were basically a cover band of theirs at the beginning.

Metallica didn't invent thrash!Being from Florida near Tampa when I was young you saw the older guy's when you were into Iron Maiden and Judas Priest back in 83' 84' jamming to Possessed and Venom and early Kreator,Celtic Frost/Hellhammer and of course Exciter and Voi Vod;although we and they did enjoy Metallica and Anthrax and for myself Anthrax started out more speed metal and fistful of metal is an amazing album still to this day.Sadus is pure dark thrash.

Contrary to popular belief, this band is one of the most technical thrash bands out there. They are far more complex than Metalica ever dreamed to be. I don't truely hate Metallica, but i think they are far from the best. AJFA was okay, though.
