Typical of western australia's local councils everywhere. They went against their own rangers' recommendations to keep it open for offroad bikes etc, for what? Probably to make way for some tourist/land development later, to hell with free recreation eh? wankers. Please post your disgust to the albany council and any other council on these issues, while you're at it, join in and support the RTRA, look them up.
