I saw demos of this game at D23 Expo. It's so cool to see Disneyland Park duplicated in every detail. I go there all the time and it's amazing how exact they are to Walt's park. I could totally play this game because I would have no trouble navigating my way through it.
Show me a PS3 moves game or a Wii game where u can actually use your foot to kick a ball or someone in the head? Not a big fan of DisneyLand for Kinect. It does sound very cool and with endless possiblity for the kids to have hours of fun. I'd just like to see some great Kinect games come out that people would wanna play alot. Not just a few hours or a couple days. Off and on for weeks and even months. Just can't wait to see a good winters games coming out with tons of content and fun. <3

@equilibrium1736 My bad dude, didn't watch the video. BTW, the Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride, and if there is any building design that I like better in WDL over WDW is the Haunted Mansion. I don't know why WDW remade it. The only cool thing in the WDW outside structure is that have a tribute to Mr.Toad because the closed down the ride lol.
I also encourage you to look up any Disney fan website and check out their forums, you will see that far more people talk about DL and prefer it for countless reasons. The fact of the matter is WDW is a tourist location while DL caters to repeat Disney fans and locals primarily. All it takes is a quick search on google, Disneyland vs Walt Disney World or Sleeping Beauty Castle vs Cinderella Castle, or DL Fantasmic vs WDW Fantasmic, etc. Don't take my word for it, read what others have to say.

@dragonlord0078 Sony developed it in my of the ps2 eyetoy when that had no buttons. Ps move is different from the wii since ps move requires the ps eye. wiimote uses sensors and wii doesnt track your body so your wrong. PS move > Wii > kinect
Ps move is on a whole new level than the wii. Ps move has 1:1 motion tracking and tracks your body and hase both hardcore and casual games with good graphics (because the developers actually put there effort in to make the game look good)

@rptheory Yeah, but the Wii is older than Move and Kinect. Kinect is not even 1 year old. When was the Wii released? 2008? Or maybe 2007? It totally makes sense that Wii has more games than Kinect and Move. But my point was that Kinect doesn't require a controller. So in my opinion, Kinect is better than Wii. But maybe am I wrong, maybe the Kinect doesn't register your moves 100 procent correct, so that it is very annoying. I don't know know that, because I don't have a Kinect (yet).
Guys stop bashing this game it might not be so bad. I mean, you can SLAP Disney characters! Can you do that at the parks? NO! But just be glad this isnt Universal Studios Theme Park Adventure for Gamecube.
Microsoft is getting Disneyland Adventures, Kinect Sports: Season Two, and Dance central 2. Nintendo is getting Ninja Gaiden 3, Resident Evil: Revelations, and Metal Gear Solid 3. It almost seems as if Microsoft and Nintendo are switching places.
So much hate. Looks alright to me. If I had a kinect I'd probably get this one day when its cheaper.

MK is bigger than the original, Cinderella castle is majestic compared to the godawful tacky Sleeping beauty one. And that's just comparing MK, not all WDW.

This is the reason why attractions and shows like Pirates of the Caribbean are better in DL.

Just because I don't visit forums doesn't mean I'm not a fan. I live far from CA and FL so it's a bit unfair to just assume the only read Disney fans are those who go to the parks.
@jitensha Let me revise what I said, he isn't stationary but the Yeti is operating in B mode which is utilizing basic movement to not aggravate the structural issue. At one time the animatronic was extremely violent and actually lunged at the audience with a lot of force. If you look up the video on youtube it will show you how it used to move. There are actually videos that joke about this, type in disco yeti expedition everest in the search.
@equilibrium1736 I've seen the video, I just can't remember how forceful his movement was. I'll be going in August again and I'll keep my eyes peeled. Whether he is working at full capacity or not does not mean a park is not up to par. WDW is obviously working on big new things like new Fantasyland. I've never been disappointed at any Disney park before, and I think they all share a special quality that you can expect from Disney. That being said, I still like WDW better, again, just my opinion.
@jitensha Of coarse, I'm not saying WDW is bad by any means, quite the contrary but there are well defined reasons on the internet that explain why DL is the best park in the world besides Tokyo Disney Sea. Your more than welcome to have your opinion on the subject but I do encourage you to read what expert Disney fans have to say about this topic. When I hear people saying the Disneyland Resort is lame compared to WDW it irks me because it is absolutely untrue.

I like Pepsi! You like what you like, and no one can tell you better. Theme parks aren't gadgets that can be made into v.2. Both parks have advancements that the others don't, that doesn't mean one is better than the other, you have your own pros and cons and make your own opinion on which you prefer.
While I do believe that there are many Disney fans that don't browse community websites it is not a coincidence that the majority of users present are browsing Disneyland resort sections of the discussion. I encourage you to visit places such as micechat and others to see what people think of Disneyland vs WDW, there are many threads on this topic which explain the reasoning far better than I can on youtube. BTW I'm glad you like the New Orleans look better on the Haunted Mansion.
@equilibrium1736 I appreciate you wanting to convince me, but my experience is better than a second hand experience. It's not to say that there aren't certain 'charms' WDL has, as well as WDW has, I just enjoy the feeling of being immersed in a world. Literally 30k acres of land, it's hard not to feel like that. I remember when I went to TDS I could see the parking lot and office buildings on one of the rides, and it just killed it for me. In WDW you're fully immersed just by the seer size.
You also didn't even realize what I'm talking about on Expedition Everest which is common knowledge in fan based communities which further shows your ignorance on the subject. The Yeti animatronic that is featured on the attraction hasn't worked for over a year now. BTW, you want to say I'm immature, how about your initial post that stated "Disneyland sucks?"

@equilibrium1736 Don't mean to butt into an argument but I believe reason they haven't fixed the Yeti is because it has turned out that the Yeti is built into the mountain structure and every thrust the Yeti made caused the structure to break just a little every time so eventually the whole thing would come apart. That and lets face it, you ride past that thing so fast that you barely have time to notice it's moving so such animatronic technology is a bit of waste to begin with

@dragonlord0078 Sony developed it in my of the ps2 eyetoy when that had no buttons. Ps move is different from the wii since ps move requires the ps eye. wiimote uses sensors and wii doesnt track your body so your wrong. PS move > Wii > kinect
Ps move is on a whole new level than the wii. Ps move has 1:1 motion tracking and tracks your body and hase both hardcore and casual games with good graphics (because the developers actually put there effort in to make the game look good)

@dragonlord0078 Games for the Wii: No More Heroes 1 and 2, Mad World, Smash Bros Brawl, Metriod Prime Trilogy, Mario Kart Wii, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, etc.
Games for Kinect: ... yeah.
Games SPECIFICALLY for Move: ...ummmm
Don't get me wrong, the PS3 and 360 have an amazing library of games as well, but when it comes to the Move and Kinect, they are about as gimmicky as one could get. (Wii also was pretty gimmicky too, mind you.

@rptheory Yeah, but the Wii is older than Move and Kinect. Kinect is not even 1 year old. When was the Wii released? 2008? Or maybe 2007? It totally makes sense that Wii has more games than Kinect and Move. But my point was that Kinect doesn't require a controller. So in my opinion, Kinect is better than Wii. But maybe am I wrong, maybe the Kinect doesn't register your moves 100 procent correct, so that it is very annoying. I don't know know that, because I don't have a Kinect (yet).

Microsoft is getting Disneyland Adventures, Kinect Sports: Season Two, and Dance central 2. Nintendo is getting Ninja Gaiden 3, Resident Evil: Revelations, and Metal Gear Solid 3. It almost seems as if Microsoft and Nintendo are switching places.

So much hate. Looks alright to me. If I had a kinect I'd probably get this one day when its cheaper.
But as most of us know Kinect is so shitty pricey that its like buying another xbox. Which Is why the day I buy it will be when it decides to drop down about a hundred dollars.

@Americandadcrazed3 Amen to that! But we can't always go when we want and this isn't a terrible idea for a game. I mean Wii and Kinect trick people into getting exercise by adding graphics to look at. Its not a stupid idea and just because some people on here think so, doesn't mean it won't be successful. Disney Channel makes horrible shows but, they still make money despite what many people think. Children like Disney, a kid would LOVE this and theres tons of kids in the world aka it will sell.

@equilibrium1736 Ignorance? Please, I've been to that Disney, the one's in Orlando, even went to the Disneyland in Japan, and Tokyo Disney Sea 3 times. I went to Disney parks on my Honeymoon and following Wedding Anniversaries. I am a Disney FREAK. From EXPERIENCE I feel WDW is better than the original. That's not ignorance, that's opinion. MK is bigger than the original, Cinderella castle is majestic compared to the godawful tacky Sleeping beauty one. And that's just comparing MK, not all WDW.

@jitensha Right... if you were an actually an educated Disney fan you would know that Disneyland gets all the big budget attractions, upgrades, and maintenance. WDW has been in shambles for a long period of time with cut corners and abominations such as the Tiki Room Under New Management. Just look at Expedition Everest; how long has the Yeti been stationary? Bigger is not better, quality is, and Disneyland has WDW beat hands down in this category.

@equilibrium1736 What are you talking about?! They put far more money into WDW than they do in DL. Of course size is a huge factor, but it's also visited by more Americans as well as foreign guests. Can I say "New Fantasyland"? By the way EE is open, I rode it last summer, this spring and according to the WDW site it's open. There is no point in arguing with you. I've said from the start this is my OPINION. You've called me ignorant and uneducated because I like something you don't. Very mature.

@jitensha They have to put more money into WDW because of its sheer size, that doesn't mean those funds are necessarily more effective. Disneyland uses its large budget for a far smaller area which results in better quality product. WDW is a resort that caters to tourists, over 90% of fans on the internet prefer Disneyland due to it being "seasoned" and built in a time where quality triumphed quantity. This is the reason why attractions and shows like Pirates of the Caribbean are better in DL.

If 90% of people who liked Disney preferred going to DL, WDW would not exists. And WDW uses it's money quiet wisely, have you not seen the new Fantasyland they're building? Also the Yeti DOES work! The Yeti is in fact broken, it is not a rumor. The foundation platform it was built upon could not withstand the violent movements of the figure and the animatronic has been stationary every since.

@equilibrium1736 Yes I read the foundation had cracked in the past. I can't account for time I haven't been there. But I rode the ride in Aug and Feb and he was moving. I just think there is a lot of speculation in the facts you're giving me. I mean, c'mon 90% of Disney fans prefer WDL over WDW? I don't think so. Just because I don't visit forums doesn't mean I'm not a fan. I live far from CA and FL so it's a bit unfair to just assume the only read Disney fans are those who go to the parks.

@jitensha Let me revise what I said, he isn't stationary but the Yeti is operating in B mode which is utilizing basic movement to not aggravate the structural issue. At one time the animatronic was extremely violent and actually lunged at the audience with a lot of force. If you look up the video on youtube it will show you how it used to move. There are actually videos that joke about this, type in disco yeti expedition everest in the search.

@equilibrium1736 I've seen the video, I just can't remember how forceful his movement was. I'll be going in August again and I'll keep my eyes peeled. Whether he is working at full capacity or not does not mean a park is not up to par. WDW is obviously working on big new things like new Fantasyland. I've never been disappointed at any Disney park before, and I think they all share a special quality that you can expect from Disney. That being said, I still like WDW better, again, just my opinion.

@jitensha Of coarse, I'm not saying WDW is bad by any means, quite the contrary but there are well defined reasons on the internet that explain why DL is the best park in the world besides Tokyo Disney Sea. Your more than welcome to have your opinion on the subject but I do encourage you to read what expert Disney fans have to say about this topic. When I hear people saying the Disneyland Resort is lame compared to WDW it irks me because it is absolutely untrue.

@equilibrium1736 Well but see, that's an opinion. I honestly don't care what other people say. If I try coke and pepsi, and everyone says coke is better but I like pepsi, then who the heck cares? I like Pepsi! You like what you like, and no one can tell you better. Theme parks aren't gadgets that can be made into v.2. Both parks have advancements that the others don't, that doesn't mean one is better than the other, you have your own pros and cons and make your own opinion on which you prefer.

While I do believe that there are many Disney fans that don't browse community websites it is not a coincidence that the majority of users present are browsing Disneyland resort sections of the discussion. I encourage you to visit places such as micechat and others to see what people think of Disneyland vs WDW, there are many threads on this topic which explain the reasoning far better than I can on youtube. BTW I'm glad you like the New Orleans look better on the Haunted Mansion.

@equilibrium1736 I appreciate you wanting to convince me, but my experience is better than a second hand experience. It's not to say that there aren't certain 'charms' WDL has, as well as WDW has, I just enjoy the feeling of being immersed in a world. Literally 30k acres of land, it's hard not to feel like that. I remember when I went to TDS I could see the parking lot and office buildings on one of the rides, and it just killed it for me. In WDW you're fully immersed just by the seer size.

@equilibrium1736 Don't mean to butt into an argument but I believe reason they haven't fixed the Yeti is because it has turned out that the Yeti is built into the mountain structure and every thrust the Yeti made caused the structure to break just a little every time so eventually the whole thing would come apart. That and lets face it, you ride past that thing so fast that you barely have time to notice it's moving so such animatronic technology is a bit of waste to begin with
