This should have been filmed over the shoulder with a close-up on your hands. Camera is too far away--straining to see what you're doing, and also it's confusing to be looking at it backwards. Was able to understand part of it from the verbal description but that's about all.
Watching this video made me very glad I knit from the toe up. People are working way too hard just to get started. Two at a time toe up is the way to go!
Great video! What I would love is a video demonstrating how to do two socks at the same time on one long circular needle. Not knitting a sock within another sock, but two separate socks on one long circ, magic loop style.
I learned on dpns, but I prefer the magic loop method (which this is-- small diameter knitting on a long circular needle like in this video) because it's faster and simpler when it comes to the pattern.
