Excellent car!!! Only bad thing: automatic air conditioner on the contemporary Lancia Thema was far better, with digital temp display, digital regulation of temperature and a full automatic algorithm of climate managing.
Now this is an odd question. I drove one today with 258,000 miles. Still ran...well rough. Now to start it, so it wouldn't stall, he had me press on the gas. Is this what you have to do as well? Thanks.
@MrJoe2412 yes it states in the owners manual if the motor is hot you have to press the gas for 4 seconds then let off an it probably ran ruff because super unleaded was not in it some lower grade fuel was mine does the same thing when I first got the car put wrong fuel in it hope this helps
@Foreverdub Thanks for comment... by the way.. there is a guy in Brighton who I believe only sells W124 estates or at least he has aa website with lots listed. :)
@whchuang I bought the radio and had it fitted into the car about ten years ago... it is an Alpine unit, but obviously an old one now as it is ten years old and plays cassets BUT I have a casset that has a lead from it and this allows the unit to play mp3 through the car speakers... good set up if you have an old casset player in an old car. :)
That's an awesome car! Full options!
In Europe you hardly ever see a W124 with full options.
Especially Diesel are pooly equipped.
Full leather, memory seats with heating and orthopedic adjustment is like one in a million.

Hi,
very nice car, but you need to grease the windshield wiper. If you do not, you are looking at the very expensive repair.

by the way, at 10:31 you mentioned about the radio. Could you please tell me where you got your new radio? I'm thinking about replacing mine. Thanks!
