hey u dont need 2 fusez just one for the rocket , drill a hole in the rocket end for the nozzle and drill a small hole in the other rocket end before attaching the load then put small black match in the hole to pass fire to the burst then attach the shell casing , put burst , put stars , close the shell , and thats all

you can make your own fuse out of kno3, sugar mixed with water let it dry over a piece of string and there you have it a homemade fuse

that is a strange way of fusing the header. i hand drill just past the top plug at the right size for my fuse and add bp to fill the hole to insure ignition. it works better bc it uses all the rocket propellant before the header does its buisness

why two fuses if you drill the core only 3 quarters the way up the rocket drill a small hole in the top put the fuse in glue it there and then have your burst charge.. the last quarter makes a  little delay and is mutch safer

dude, why don't you just ram the engine without the clay bung and attach your payload with the solid rocket propellant and payload contents in contact? You will achieve greater hight and only one fuse to light.
