Don't want to be picky and all, but firstly, that "woman scientist" thing is not only irrelevant -- it's almost certainly wrong in most cases. Especially in old inventions when women weren't allowed to venture into a specialty like science.

Secondly, the whole "women raised those men" is sort of the point of the song -- while it holds a romantic tone and also a fatherly one, it also includes motherhood if you actually listen to the song.
