  • hey guys you should check out my channel(mrwillzmyname)i have a pocket knife review on there, thx byeee!

  • I met Al at the SOF convention in Arizona in 1982 and I can honestly say he was very commited to the quality of his knives he was making. I am glad they are still being made with that same quality. I just placed an order for SERE 2000 for myself.

  • Why do they call you "customtesticals"?

  • @JohnnyRugged06 cuz my testicals are the best.

  • @JohnnyRugged06 I had one of these AL MERE SERE 2000 ARRIVE TODAY 9.11.11 What a well made folder its in sanely built like a tank. The Tactical blade on this is so sweet. I don't think i have seen a folder so well built for a while. Top blade. 173 GRAMS of solid as knive. Probably one of the best built knives as far as strength goes you will ever see.

  • Just got mine in the mail, WOW!!!! What an amazing knife, pictures do not do it justice, if you don't mind a slight heft I highly recommend it, this knife is worth every dollar a must for every knife collector.

  • dude that pocket clip SUCKS, i love the position but the end needs to be bent up

  • I would love to buy this knife right now, although I must wait because I don't have as much disposable income cus I'm not a Goldman Sachs employee.

  • @GQchris75 Who said anything about employee? I'm a Goldman Sachs Executive!

  • i don't think the liners are titanium......cz stainless......cz this knife is over 6oz lol......

  • All your reviews are great. I do have a question for you in regards to this Al Mar SERE 2000, I could nor find any reference to the liner lock being titanium?

  • @nls8520 You guys are correct, the liners are Stainless Steel, I made a mistake when I was reviewing. Thanks for correcting!

  • @customtacticals Its no problem I was more asking for clarification rather than an attempted correction. You have some excellent reviews.

  • @nls8520 Read this the liners are Titanium

The Al Mar Sere 2000 created a big stir in the tactical knife community when it came out, as it was Al Mar’s first serious entry into the full tactical knife market. Most of Al Mar’s knives had not been really tactical until the Sere 2000 came out. It lead to a few more quality designs coming from Al Mar.

  • @BoaZ1234567891 The late Al Mar was a great knife designer, and the Sere 2000 is one of the products of his genius. The knife is so simple, yet overbuilt, with a very standard droppoint blade with swedge. It has a somewhat pronounced guard on the handle, with finely textured G-10, and thick titanium liners.

  • @BoaZ1234567891 I appreciate the reply, however I don't see anything in that clip you provided that state's the liners are made of Titanium.

  • I think AL MAR Shrike looks better and lighter

  • Excellent presentation. The regular and mini-Sere are outstanding, very sharp and tough knives.

  • nothing against almar knives, but I feel they should get some different blade designs.

  • Hope to get one of these one day. I find that I like a lot of Al Mar's stuff--classic lines, modern materials/function, very clean looking, etc. Not too many gimmicky knives coming out of that company. However, they're not the most affordable knives in the world either, especially for the steels they use. Prob have to hold off til' I have a little more disposable income.

  • Thanks for another great review!

  • I like Al Mar. Have Al Mar Shiva, a beautiful fighter. Also have my eyes on the Mini SERE 2000. Looks like a great edc. Havent found reviews on it, would like to see one:)

  • How much???

  • I bought this knife last year, and it is worth every penny. It has a beautiful reflective surface on the blade, and the handle has a nice coarse texture for grip. Furthermore, the handle has substantial weight, which is nice when you consider that most pocket knives lack in this department. I like the extra heft because the knife doesn't feel like it will slip out of my hand. Overall, I would recommend this knife to any tactical knife enthusiast.

  • Cool.

  • Looks solid.

  • Excellent knife!

  • awesome!

ive had my eye on one of those knives for a while.

  • Great knife!
