  • My malinois will be very passive with cats because he's been trained to protect smaller animals. If he's dealing with a rowdy puppy, he'll do the light bite on the nose to assert himself. It's funny because when he did it to my girlfriend's pitbull, her pitbull yelped really loud and then my malinois came running into my room like "Uh oh, I'm in trouble".

  • brave cat! lol very well mannered Mal you have.

  • When a cat wag his tail... what does it mean?

  • @081908009999 Usually, from my own experience, they are frickin pissed. But this one seems like he's just fucking with him...

  • I have the same dog he's patient to with my pitbull but not that patient he puts the pitbull in it's place quick

  • A very well trained dog... two thumps up! Belgian Malinois is the best breed ever!! Haha cuz I have same dog thats why!?!

  • HISS GRRRRR

  • if that cat did that to my malinois he would of freaked out and jumped everywhere

  • Aahahaha, poor kitten gets bored eventually! ;) I would name that dog Gandhi.

  • Well trained cat.

  • the evil cat is very playful and the malinois is behaving because someone is watching him. if he given a chance he will teach that cat a good lesson.. i love this video and made me miss my malinois that i left in my country. by the way he's a cat killer and i don't like it because i love cats

  • @stoneroses13

a cat killer??? non saprei dire se sei più stronzo per aver lasciato il tuo malinois non si sa bene dove, o più coglione per l'affermazione che questo cane sarebbe un uccisore di gatti.... povero minchione

  • that are illegal fights, you organize.

  • Yeah, he is an awesome dog and the cat is still aggravating as ever. :-)

We love Mals (not for everyone though.) We just got an older puppy and now our old Mal is teaching her some manners! :-D

  • What do you mean when you say that they're not for everyone? The reason I ask is I've been reading about Mals and thinking about getting one. Do they make good family pets or are they strictly business? (working dogs)

I've had a Husky before. Not the easiest to train, but she was fairly well mannered and very playful. She started climbing the fence and went missing after 1 yr : (

  • @SkeksisRule my mom has a malinois and she was very hard to train, couldnt keep her attention like a regular dog. Sent her to a great trainer and she is now an awsome dog, pet, protector and family friend. The trainer said that this was common to the breed. Very active and Very smart.

  • @spsc1 Oh, cool. So she sent the dog away to be trained as a protection dog or what? Was it expensive?

  • @spsc1 Our malinois was difficult to train as well, and like yours she also lacked attention whenever we walked her outside (she would get distracted by other dogs and was very disobedient). But we've trained her well and she's an amazing dog at home. A very loyal and loving dog :)

  • Bratty kitty! Dog is so sweet. I'm sure kitty is just trying to play as it would with any other cat. Love them both.

  • I have a mal to but hes not really ours hes actually the citys my dad is a k9 officers for the city ive nvr saw any one else that even knows what a malinois is haha ive had about 9 of them and most of them get calm with the right training and at the right age (about 5 or 6)

  • how did u get your mal so calm? is it the age or something cuz mines a spaz.

  • He is old. We are right there watching too. Given a chance, outside, he will still try to eat a cat and may have eaten a cat before we got him. (He is a rescue.)

  • How did you let your cat to attack the dog on the face like that?????

  • @dzinafianko - I asked the same question as Dz... and may I add that you have a very good dog who is obviously very well trained and calm b/c on several occasions that cat jumped and scratched the dog's face and that is too close to the eyes. You noticed the dog looking at you, waiting for approval and not wanting to disappoint you, until the dog finally got up and looked like he walked towards u at the end for some adult grown-up interference.
