Noticing the different sizes of the glasses, some have more water surface area, and would likely evaporate faster than the tiny ones, BUT, the percentage of water lost from the tiny ones should be more destructive to the tuning, Right? (I'm a balloon artist, & we notice this problem between what air leaks through the "pores" of smaller balloon bubbles and larger ones.) Robert, how does this translate to your instrument?
A year ago, someone asked the following: "How long does it take to tune? Also, does it go out of tune very fast? (Dry air would be a pain. :)" I'm wondering if all the glasses lose the same amount of water due to evaporation, and therefore don't go out of tune with Each Other, just the whole "instrument" goes Flat - like a tired choir.
Have you ever done anything from The Magic Flute ? I think it would sound incredible on your glass harp, on some of the flute or celeste parts, for example. Or maybe a Queen of the Night aria ? Now, that would be something I'd love to hear. Keep up the good work !
Wow and this is nice... and i Agree, that you should play Rossini's barber of Seville... especially the Figaro part... i'm sure you can do it... as you are this good already...
I am an artist and a musician and I can truly say this is a gorgeous combination of both if you ask me...Man you probably amaze so many women with ur skills
Fantastic! I'd like to hear some arrangements of Igor Stravinsky or Aaron Copland pieces, or perhaps some of Frank Zappa's orchestral pieces? I'm guessing they'd be prohibitively difficult to play but would depend mostly on what arrangement you came up with. That would be too dense I suppose but may be possible in a duo with complimentary instrumentation. You could be the first to take on Stravinsky, Copland, Schoenberg, Zappa or even Ellington! It would be quite an achievement.
Why is he always a bit late with the music? Pitty...

One of my favorite pieces from Rossini. The wine glass harmonica with accompaniment does it justice.

I think the music actually was beneficial to the harp. Plus it filled in the other parts that he couldn't play.
