  • Mighty Max Brought me Here

  • Thumbs up if The Comedy Button podcast reminded you of this show.

  • This came on at like five in the morning in DFW...I used to watch it by myself in the dark with a bowl of fruit loops

  • @misterbearbe Yes. I can hear DK sound effects. This SFX are from the third level of the game.

  • Marlon's transformation into CyberSkull Is similar 2 the EM Wave Change from the Mega Man Star Force Game Series Cause he fused with a program Brain thing that was similar 2 a wizard from MMSF.

  • @Altimadark

The hot dog was passed down to a person and the person passed the money back up. You know, like what ACTUALLY happens in stadiums!

Also, the Puns in this episode are the best yet!

  • 3:37 someone is playing Donkey Kong in the arcade ^^

  • Some random helicopter with missiles flying around town. NARF!!

  • Awesome. This is one of the cool episodes I missed when I was a kid, rushing to school. Thanks man. Awesome thumbs up!

  • 10:06 - Sound byte from the Mega Man Cartoon!

  • 5:38

Where'd he get that money? Wasn't he complaining he was out of cash, even talking about _borrowing_ a dollar, just before Virgil called him up?

  • I really hate those games that make you pay for extra time in the middle of the game.

  • Norman taught Brock Sampson everything he knows.

    Related through blood perhaps?

  • LOL I love max's witty comments and dead pan delivery. I couldn't stop giggling when Virgil, Max and Noramn get thrown through a glass door and Max says "are we losing?" LOL!

  • I think this is what happened to Rare Ware. The characters from Killer Instinct Started flipping buses in downtown San Francisco.

  • As a student Game Developer I must say that not all prgrammers are nerds

  • His electrons have gained critical mass!

  • i thought he didnt have a dollar

  • i love the irony of Virgil telling max "this is reality" through the medium of an arcade game. the writing was awesome

  • How MANY times do they use that squeaky creek sound?!

  • Anyone else see a thinly veiled reference to Microsoft vs Apple in this episode? I never noticed it til now....

  • So this would be the Mighty One's rendition of "Tron", eh?

  • hmm I like it but it'll be better with swords, epic! xD

  • @richard200705: Norman's right--those athletes would REALLY be earning their pay then, huh?

  • That's it! 1st time I see the complete series on DVD, I'm buying it! Ahhhh... Nothing like reliving the past. : )

  • "I like it, but it be better with swords." >_> go Norm

  • haha,, i loved this show!!

  • this guy vs dr manhattan

  • strongest enemy thus far!!

  • when did arcade games ever cost 50 cents? and look like Virtual Boy?

  • LOL! Mighty Max is my generation's "Ben 10"

  • HAAAACK! ^.=.^

  • If only they spoke robot... felt some very vague similarities to Grandma's Boy for a second.

  • I think everything would be better with swords! lol

  • i think i emember this show

  • It sounds like Danny Goldman is the one portraying the hacker that becomes Cyberskull.

  • Norman has a huge sword at the football game. That's really funny to me.

  • 4:48 I find it amusing that nobody is shocked when a boy falls out of the sky through a portal in the middle of a crowded stadium. And the cheerleader he lands on her face is just like "get lost, kid"

  • I guess they didn't noticed him falling down...either that or they've been watching too many movies of science fiction.

  • I love how everyone that works at Megacorp look no older than Max.

  • Comment removed

  • This episode could also be called "Battle of the Nerds". Haha

  • Mighty Max! So... long... time... without watching it.

  • I love how Marlon Kurts says "the Cyberskull Virus!!!" :)

  • wth why cant my computer do that?

  • buy a gun

  • just realized something, the voice actor for MM sounds like the voice actor for Static Shock

  • i dont know about that but he is the same voice actor for hydroman in spiderman tas

  • hahaha just watched the ep u r right

  • it's not. Phil Lamar did Static Shock. Mighty Max was done by Rob Paulsen. But I do think they sound alike.

  • Makes sense, Phil Lamar does so much shit you can't even tell what he hasn't done.

  • hahahahahaha. That was funny

  • lol that guy had a spray can belt

  • Wonder where i could get me a laptop necklace..

  • I love how a ten thousand year old chicken that talks and a sword-weilding warrior doesnt bother the crowd at all.

  • lol norman thinks football is better with swords!!!! i like norman so i guess thats ok...lol....

  • hmm i loved this show as a kid, but in retrospect some of the early episodes were much better...

  • i remember the last episode it was awesome dude i loved this show

  • lol what a silly episode

  • 5:50

Why did he get tackled by a guy on the same team?

  • w00t! The Power Glove!

  • Man can't believe this didn't end up on DVD I agree Sponge bob is crap and it's not dvd worthy, this show deserves to be on dvd.

  • I loved this show. Is it on DVD?

  • This show definitely is DVD-worthy, but I don't think it has. Since they made the show to promote the toy-line, I don't think they would do anything else to the show; it's a shame really, knowing that other cartoons like spongebob get DVD release of like every single episode.

  • I first I thought Norman said "I´m gay":S

  • I like that Virgil's people have apparently quantified destiny

  • this is the most epic of the mighty max episodes

    why? I love video games!

  • At first glance this show seemed cheesy but actually was really witty. The animation and writing were fucking great. I think this one of last cartoons I used to watch somewhat religiously in the morning before school.

  • Amen to that. No other cartoon of its genre can hold up to Mighty Max. Unlike most shows, this one really fuels the imagination.

  • I agree. I look at the similar 11-year-olds saving the world stuff like Juniper Lee and American Dragon and it just doesn't compare.

  • YAY PEOPLE GREE WITH ME!!!!! spongebob is evil anyway eberybody knows that. lol imagiantaion is the key to any story and isnt a cartoon an animated story? thats why modern tv isnt so great, there is no imagination.!!!!

  • Yeah, everything seems to have been 'done before'. Sure, a talking sponge is neat, but the rest of the show is repetitive backwash. A few of today's cartoons still have merit, but television could really use something to bring back what has been lost.

  • i know, besides older cartoons are better, they have that "bite" that people really enjoy, instead of that childish stuff that makes kids little brats!

  • Ha! Definitely, when children see the same thing over and over, they expect the same thing over and over, leaving them with greediness and without imagination.

  • im glad to see people agree with me, now if only we could find a way to do something about it lol.

  • I wouldn't call Spongebob "repetitive backwash" half as much as I would call it random nonsense.

Television has shows which are good, and shows which are bad. That's the way it's always been.

  • Watching shows like this that praise computers of their time so much makes me laugh.

If they thought a desktop of that variety was small then they'd freak out over what technology achieves today.

Good idea for an episode, though.

This show was just original for it's time.

Too bad kids shows today suck for the most part.

  • "I like it... but it would be better with swords!"

"Dude... why the swords man? Why is it always swords with you?"

    "...I just like swords..."

  • ...Please, for the love of God, tell me I'm not the only one thinking "All your base are belong to us."

  • I swear I heard someone playing Donkey Kong.

  • Also, how the hell did Norman get into a public place WITH HIS SWORD!!!

    National security sucks.

  • National security wuz more leniant(sp?) in the 90's i see! lol

  • "He'good and that's bad", "i love this game but it'd be better with swords" gotta love norman

  • he always has awesome lines!! XD

  • its a nerd war!

  • who cares, its the future! they dont make em like this any more.

  • I love how the game makes him pay 50 more cents to face the next challange now that is a wise buisness move. I never noticed it before but does Norman use a chain and padlock as a belt? still a great show can't wait to make something with it.

  • why is this not on dvd

  • Last time I checked police helicopters don't have missiles...

  • Ha, the roars that the green and black cyber monsters yell sound like the zombie guards from the original DOOM games.

  • awesome!

  • This episode is my favorite.

    God I miss childhood.

  • that cheerleader was totally grabbing mighty max's junk

  • just running and saying AHHHH just isnt cutting it anymore normy try a new strategy XD

  • why was Max looking to borrow a buck from his friend but had one to pay for the hot dog?

  • yah thats what i like to kno!

  • and how in the world did that nerd change into cyberskull?

  • cuz the arcaid games need coins!!!!

you ppl just dont get cartoons

  • he didn't buy the hot dog he was passin it down

  • Maybe because he didn't want to loose that buck ?

  • The nerds make me happy.

    :D
