The scene where Rick saves Minmei is maybe one of the all time best rescue scenes ever... Everything, from him grabbing her hand to him almost flying out the cockpit!! Fantastic!!!
I also have a question:what is the place of "the Sentinels"in Robotech storyline,I mean when story presented in them takes place,is it before the Invid saga?
Sentinels start at the end of the first war. Due to fold space time distortions the Sentinels campaign continues even past the end of the third war, yet the majority of Invid (both Regis and Regent are no longer a threat) are dead. The Sentinels are a group of 7-10 different species fighting against the Masters and then Invid. The REF sets up a sort of UN of aliens.
If interested I will generate a time line of all Robotech events from start to finish...that is if anyone cares tell me
I can agree w/ you there, that is why the sentinels series is good, read the books and you'll learn a lot about all three or rather four wars and the key people. Everything from what happens to the SDF-1 fold drives on the first jump, & rick & Lisa & SDF-3, as well as Dana, bowie, Louis and the others. You will also find out that the SDF-2 was in orbit around the moon and not on earth as they make it seem...I'll talk more about that later.....take it light
I love episode bye bye mars, where lisa is looking for Carl Ribber(her dead fiance) on the base and is ordered to overload the furnace to blow up the base and the enemy gravity mines. Rich then has to go in and save her. The other one I like is when they get captured by the Zentraedi and have to break out, and then there is....so many good ones, its hard to pick....lol...take it light and thanks for posting..
I heard they're planning a live-action movie of Robotech. I hope it's based on the Macross Saga.
Also there're rumors that Tobey Maguire's gonna be Rick Hunter.
