i have IR Shell 5.00 on my PSP Slim 5.00 m33 -6 i applied the patch and now the 2 ISOs i have work but the CSO does not when i try to play it the PSP screen goes black for 20 sec or so the the PSP shuts off. before the patch i could just Launch XMB and play the games like that but now just like in IR Shell the CSO will not play. help would be greatly appreciated.

When I tried launching an iso from ir shell, I kept getting the error: 80020321. I tried it the other way, i.e. through xmb and it worked fine, why is this happening? I have cfw 5.00 m33-6.

Thank you, I thouht you only need to apply the pathc once on your first installation of irShell, y, because when I tried reapplying it in version 4.9, it said that the patch has already been applied :). Thank you so much dude, it is now working 100% GOOD.

Is there any way for me to use IRShell while in-game? Eg. so I can pause my game, go to IRShell and play my music or change which song I listen to and then return to my game?

Also, for some reason IRShell won't let me go the the Next or Previous track when I play music, it just stops it.

There is answer for both questions, the first you must launch the game (ISO,CSO or eboot) from irshell, then to return to irshell you must press L and select togheter, that way you can return in both ways.

The second question is only selecting the songs with o and after the selection launch any of the songs with x and all the others songs would play after the first one.

Sorry to ask, but I have one last problem, and one more question;

In configurator, I chose the setting to disable game noise when I'm playing an MP3, but the game sounds are still around.

And lastly, can IRShell allow you to access files directly off an external harddrive if it is connected to the PSP USB port?

There is an icon in IRShell that says toggle USB Mass Storage Device and that's all I can guess it does.

I have version 3.71 m33-2 and IRshell version 4 or something like that. when i go to directory view, iso, then the game, and i turn on remotejoy, my psp shuts down completely. then i tried going to xmb, then iso game, but it pauses then shuts down again. btw i read the other comments and you said a lot of things about patching, which i did. thanks :)

no, irshell 3.90 is ok, but you need to apply the patch for your firmware, you skiped that step, is also on the video, look closely

After step 2 of the the launch ISO/CSO backups part my psp will not load up irshell. It starts up, goes to the loading screen then turns off. If I boot it into XMB by holding triangle it loads into XMB fine, from there home+key does nothing...

ok, you need to make some advanced configuration, do you know how to access your psp flash0?, you need to copy to flash0 the file located in ms0/PSP/GAME150/btcnfpatch/irs­patch.prx to the following location in flash0:/kn/irspatch.prx. Then you will need to edit the pspbtcnf_game.txt. This also is found in the user guide
