What kind of rope do you use? Static? Dynamic?

Static Line but its all in the anchor points and how they are rigged, we use a rope suspension system for this kind of jumping.

The only risk is forgetting to brake whilst somersaulting. He got a good hit on his hips when he braked though.

Although I've done 100s of forward abseils myself, I never tried doing a somersault. This would have given me ideas if I hadn't quit climbing years ago :)

'The jumper, idealy and by definition has control. As an added contingency there is also a brake person. The jumper in this video is not utilizing that control skillfully. Thus the always-present brake person saves his ass.'
