I don't see how you guys can't see the difference, the Xbox 360 version has better facial lighting and an overall crisper look. Take the scene where you first meet Miranda at the space port, here face looks more darker and less detailed on the PS3. 2:55 to the end if you need help.

@D0RKClan Because PS3 never got the first Mass Effect, so they got genesis (The comicbook you can the most important choices from ME1) But genesis came after the beginning cut scene, and one of the choices you made in there is who you sacrificed Ashley or Kaiden on virmire. So they just decided to give you Liara as the squadmate who warns of the attack. If you didn't play ME1 for Xbox and decided to get genesis, than the same thing also happens. =)

The funny thing all you PS3 fanboys fail to realize is that ME2 on PS3 was made using the engine from ME3 so of course some of the texture and models are going to look a fraction different. The real reveal however will be between ME3 on 360 and PS3, that being said however the fractional difference between the 2 still fails to make up for the fact that PS3 only has 2/3 of the parts of the story and no amount of "Story so far" vids can make up for the loss of the first game and it's DLCs. The real difference is that the 360 handles dynamic lighting and bump maps better. The PS3 handles lighting pretty good but it always seems like there's only one color light source ( See 0:21). Also, it's like there's no bump mapping on the PS3 at all compared to the 360 as you can see in the "MAN FORGOT TO SHAVE" example at 1:58.
The actual light sources (light bulbs, etc 1:15), however, look better on the PS3. Why the lighting is shit on PS3 but the light sources look great is a mystery.

For all of the people who are going about the Demo for Mass Effect 3, The restrictions placed on the size of demo's on Xbox Live had Bioware ship the demo on an under textured engine. The game WILL have their new engine and textures at release, and in fact, that process is pretty much done right now. The game will look more like the PC version at release. Thank you for your time.
Isn't the ps3 version of mass effect 2 running on the same modified engine as mass effect 3 is using? Atleast that's what the developers said in an interview with destructoid, and they mentioned it being and i quote "This really is the true, best version of Mass Effect that we've released to date."

e they don't feature in ME3 on PS3 as far as I've heard. That being said PC graphics and customization rock but I still love it on 360 most cause that's where ME started so that's it's home every other place is a holiday home. Much love to my PC and 360 ppl and LOLz at those PS3 ppl

The funny thing all you PS3 fanboys fail to realize is that ME2 on PS3 was made using the engine from ME3 so of course some of the texture and models are going to look a fraction different. The real reveal however will be between ME3 on 360 and PS3, that being said however the fractional difference between the 2 still fails to make up for the fact that PS3 only has 2/3 of the parts of the story and no amount of "Story so far" vids can make up for the loss of the first game and it's DLCs. The real difference is that the 360 handles dynamic lighting and bump maps better. The PS3 handles lighting pretty good but it always seems like there's only one color light source ( See 0:21). Also, it's like there's no bump mapping on the PS3 at all compared to the 360 as you can see in the "MAN FORGOT TO SHAVE" example at 1:58.
The actual light sources (light bulbs, etc 1:15), however, look better on the PS3. Why the lighting is shit on PS3 but the light sources look great is a mystery.

@thepenguin55 Looked better on Xbox all around compared to PS3, and this isn't a fanboy comment same goes for games for PS3 they look better on PS3 than on Xbox, difference isn't huge but if you look close you can notice. This always happens when a game for a specific console is ported to another.

For all of the people who are going about the Demo for Mass Effect 3, The restrictions placed on the size of demo's on Xbox Live had Bioware ship the demo on an under textured engine. The game WILL have their new engine and textures at release, and in fact, that process is pretty much done right now. The game will look more like the PC version at release. Thank you for your time.

Isn't the ps3 version of mass effect 2 running on the same modified engine as mass effect 3 is using? Atleast that's what the developers said in an interview with destructoid, and they mentioned it being and i quote "This really is the true, best version of Mass Effect that we've released to date."
