There isn't actually a right or wrong in this world, even when it comes to extremes that look awfully 'bad' in our eyes, they are only actions and doings nothing less and nothing more. So this in my eyes is just a person doing what they.. do and will keep doing what they.. do and others looking at it are just expecting them to..do as they do.
i am in the process of transitioning but i am doing alone. my parents dont accept it..is there anything i can do to make them understand that this is what i have to do in order to live my life happily...ps. im 15 so they said that if i dont stop wat im doing they will throw me out of the house.
@mrSk8TerBoi1 just be yourself. choose your name. stick up for yourself when they don't use it. wear what you want. walk your path & be happy & healthy. there's no way they can't love you for just trying to live honestly as yourself. there may be some fights & arguing but have faith that one day you all will break down your barriers of misconception, everyone will still be the same person in the end, just a little evolved and highly enlightened into their relationships with each other. good luck
@Sheckla41 speak with a little more tact & perhaps people will pay attention to your words. he is obviously, a great boy. hope he turns into a wonderful man.
Isaac, I just thought I'd tell you about a friend of mine who watched this vid today.
She was watching it over my shoulder from part-way through, and you know what she said?
"Why is that boy dressed as a girl?"
And I said "Truer words have never been spoken". She then looked at me weirdly because I sorta just left it at that, without any explaination whatsoever, lol! But I had to run off to work...
Anywho, keep up the good work. Can't believe I've been subscribed for 2 years!
Isaac, you truly amaze me. I just want to say that even though I have never been in the same situation as you, you inspire me every day. I am so glad that I got to opportunity to be your friend.
:D Im glad that you are who you are, even though I don't know you. Just though I should say that it takes alot to put yourself out here like that and you are a very inspiring person! You honestly just made my year!
I am a Cree woman. Long ago in my culture it was perfectly acceptable to be gay or bisexual. People like that were considered to be two spirited. They could choose whatever gender they wanted, or live as both. I see nothing wrong with being transgender!!
I have started a circus in Miami called the Rainbow Circus for GLBTQ youth just like you. If ever in Miami, I would love to have you visit. You are an inspiration!
Hi! I'm cisgendered (and gay) but I am so 100% supportive of the transgendered population out there! I personally don't know any- well, at least not that I'm aware of, but I hope that I can work for justice for all people, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. I admire you!
i guess there's not an entirely original "other gender", but I believe in a gender spectrum, and I know someone who prefers not to be seen as one gender or the other at all. i commented to your post because it struck me as limiting since so many people think others should be either really feminine OR really masculine, which doesn't leave a fair amount of wiggle room for those who really are in between.
i think there is nothing wrong with it, i can see why people would be a little... well you know, mean about it. But you can't really do anything about it.
Amazing. Stay strong and live well. Surround yourself with love. You are an inspiration to all of us to be honest and brave. I knew I was gay at age 9, but didn't tell ANYONE until age 18. (I am now 40). I wish I had had half your courage and self-knowledge.
You're a beautiful young man. I have 2 young sons and I hope they turn out to be as amazing as you.
My mother, Sarah Baird, a friend of your grandmother Susan watched your video and was very impressed and touched by it. My grandmother Ansie Baird from Buffalo also watched it and has a great deal of respect for you for speaking out so eloquently.
I am speechless. Beautiful video. You are an incredibly brave young man. I wish I had such courage at your age. It would have spared me many years of suffering. I wish you the best!
WTF the video is talking about some twerp who has been wearing boys clothes for 4 years. The hell are you talking about? When my child comes to me with something. The fuck dude...The hell you talking about.
Sorry to burst your bubble. But this chick is 12. She has had as much life experience as a stick of gum. Now thumb me down for not sucking up to the kid with the identity crisis
Granted the boy in this video is only 12, but in my husband's case, he has been trapped in a female body for nearly 40years. That's a bit long to be a phase.
And the boy in this video is not a twerp, or a chick! And I did not give you a thumbs down for not sucking up to him. I did it because you made a judgment without any knowledge or experience on the subject. Try walking one day in his shoes.
I could say so much more, but why waste my time. You wouldn't get it anyhow.
then there would be a unique set of reproductive organs, and they would probably develop a different identity from male or female, it would also be present in animals. This is not so, so as far as it goes, it is really just an idea, and not realistic, to claim there are more than 2 genders.

No I'm not- you see, gender is generally associated with organs, sometimes youhave people's whose gender differs from their sex. however, these people aren't a third category.
There are only two genders- some people experience both bigendered) but there have been no others- unless you count androgyny, but even then, they have times where they can feel more one than the other.
im fourteen now and still living as male. Is it still a phase? I'm getting my breasts cut off in january. Still a phase? I use the boys locker room and bathroom. Still a phase?
Ok, don't have a problem with you being transgender (power to you), but you're not ordinary, or normal. By sheer definition, you're not. You may FEEL like a normal, run of the mill little boy - but you're very different, and thus are simply not ordinary or normal.
I suppose I'm not really NORMAL to the world, but to my friends and my family and my schoolmates, I'm still the same person I always was, just with a different name. I supose you could call me unique, or special. I'm the youngest trans person on youtube, so, yeah.
What's normal or normative existence? I'm quite certain that "normal" is neither the point - nor the norm, if you will - of existence. You've made a courageous, creative portrait of one aspect of your life's journey. It's a great thing to feel normal in your own skin, and I'm happy that you have defined one facet about what feels great to you in life. Rock on, bravo, and it's very kind of you to reply so respectfully to the comments you're receiving.
Dear Cuz Isaac, your british cousins love you and always have. That was an amazing video and you chose a really great band that of course we listen to nice going. When we going to see you? lol Hana Issa and Baby X

AWESOME MAN! As a gay man,...I thought I had balls to be as "Out" as I have been throughout my life, but, Damn Isaac... you take the cake. That video is not only poinient, it's gutsy, heartfelt and touching. You are what you "feel" in this life,... and you just proved that to the world.
Ya I read about this in RS as well and i think its wonderful how you are embracing who you really are. Don't let the people who call you names get in your way cause they are just cowards, stay strong 4ever:-)
Isaac, m'boy, I am amazed to see someone so mature and sincere as you. You are both of those things for discovering very place in this life, and for not letting anything interfere with your freedom. Bless your heart.
Hey Isaac, it's Karah, your long lost cousin...haha, not too long lost. I just wanted to let you know that your video was not only captivating, but inspiring. I hope you know that you are brave and wise beyond your years, and that you have the love of my entire family. I know that Byron would have been completely astonished and moved by your work, as well. See you in two months.
I totaly love this video! You did a great job with it! It reminds of my own childhood and that all people see me as a girl allthough I always knew that I was a little boy.
Now I´m not that little anymore, but my feelings about me being a male hasn´t changed.
I just wanne thank you for sharing this video with us, issac :]
I think that you're ahead of the game, knowing and expressed who you really are at a young age. Best of luck to you and I hope that you receive all of the support that you need.
hey isaac, its your cousin madeline. My dad forwarded me your video. Its awesome, and especially awesome that you are so self aware and brave enough to speak up for yourself. Rock on and don't be a stranger.
I really loved your video, and I'm very proud of you for your bravery and self-awareness.
There were kids who called me queer when I was your age, and I hadn't even figured it out that I was gay yet! Nobody then talked in a non-judgmental sense to young teens about gay, lesbian, bi and transgender identities. So seeing your video made me even gladder that you're you - a very special person.
you are an incredible kid. its so neat to see someone your age being able to make this transition. we know from adult transpeople that they felt they were in the wrong body their entire lives and yet it seems like the world refuses to listen to children when they voice these feelings. they're "too young to know". it doesnt make sense. kids know. i'm glad you get to be yourself while you're young, issac. you look like a wonderful young man. stay strong.
it's just like... wow... i mean the first day that you told me you were really a boy.. i just thought "this is just the same friend i've always had, but now he's isaac" i mean, that's true... i don't judge you, but there is so much more to being transgender than i thought... you're really strong, bud
wow isaac that was very deep.... i'm not transgender so i don't understand but being your friend for almost 4 years and watching iris gradually grow up into isaac through those years being your friend has been amazing and really taught me something about life. thanks
thankyou for sharing this with us Isaac, I think it's brave and what's really important is that it gives this hope and confidence to all us transguys -that we all used to look like girls, but deep inside we never weren't.
And you're a really good looking guy (I love redheads :D).

Society recognises 2 genders. Those genders don't always match. Some people fit between those genders, like me (female, bigendered).
Physical sex doesn't always match gender identity.

Peace and a lot of love,
KP

I totaly love this video! You did a great job with it! It reminds of my own childhood and that all people see me as a girl allthough I always knew that I was a little boy.
Now I´m not that little anymore, but my feelings about me being a male hasn´t changed.
I just wanne thank you for sharing this video with us, issac :]

Dear Issac,
I really loved your video, and I'm very proud of you for your bravery and self-awareness.
There were kids who called me queer when I was your age, and I hadn't even figured it out that I was gay yet! Nobody then talked in a non-judgmental sense to young teens about gay, lesbian, bi and transgender identities. So seeing your video made me even gladder that you're you - a very special person.
Love,
Uncle Cliff

you are an incredible kid. its so neat to see someone your age being able to make this transition. we know from adult transpeople that they felt they were in the wrong body their entire lives and yet it seems like the world refuses to listen to children when they voice these feelings. they're "too young to know". it doesnt make sense. kids know. i'm glad you get to be yourself while you're young, issac. you look like a wonderful young man. stay strong.

You look great as a boy Issac! I wish you all the best in life.

it's just like... wow... i mean the first day that you told me you were really a boy.. i just thought "this is just the same friend i've always had, but now he's isaac" i mean, that's true... i don't judge you, but there is so much more to being transgender than i thought... you're really strong, bud
LemonlimeLu 4 years ago 4
wow isaac that was very deep.... i'm not transgender so i don't understand but being your friend for almost 4 years and watching iris gradually grow up into isaac through those years being your friend has been amazing and really taught me something about life. thanks
LemonlimeLu 4 years ago
thankyou for sharing this with us Isaac, I think it's brave and what's really important is that it gives this hope and confidence to all us transguys -that we all used to look like girls, but deep inside we never weren't.
And you're a really good looking guy (I love redheads :D).
