Scott volubntarily chose not to go to Hollywood so he could finish his education and honor his student teaching commitments , from what I have read . Our loss , so we got stuck listening to the less talented remaning people on AI this year . Scott would have been the winner , hands down , He's the only one I would have spenttwo hrs on voting for this season.

Scott, I hate to say this, but I think you made a big mistake if the rumors are to be believed. That you dropped out of American Idol to "focus on school".

Whoever gave you that advice doesn't know what they're talking about. You can finish school whenever you feel like it. 28, 30, 35, it doesn't matter. You can't get on American Idol whenever you want, and they even have age limits for the show. You had a golden opportunity based on your audition. The judges LOVED you.
