Taxpayer money wasn't wasted. In fact, it may have been saved. If it had been an alcohol party, how much time and money would have been spent on citations, arrests, bookings, etc?

And there was no public nuisance, since everyone was inside a private residence.

At best, the cops should have cited and towed the cars that were blocking traffic.
