I don't really feel the passion. A blank face can still relay passion. An emotional scene, even sad can still contain a smile or two. Of course, a blank face doesn't always relay passion.
You guys did an excellent job. The reason that scene resonates with so many people is because it is so human, it perfectly illustrates that everyone has a manner of language that engages them and allows them to let their guard down. That scene alone won Robin Williams his Oscar and was a huge part in Matt Damon and Ben Affleck getting theirs. You guys did a very tough scene justice, much respect.
