I really believe in true love. This movie reminds me of my life. I had to wait 10 years for the love of my life. I had to watch him be with another woman knowing that he was suppose to be with me. But, after 10 years I am happily married to that man. To the people who are looking for love....NEVER GIVE UP!! I didn't!!

i met this girl in highschool back in the 8th grade. the first time i layed my eyes on her, i thought it was love at first sight, but never really told her that i love her yet. and this movie reminds me of how i can' just 'quit' for something i truly want. it's been 6 years since. my feelings for her still stay the same. *sigh*

It really does exist! That's the beauty of life!! This movie is only a "movie", but it depicts what is true and real about true love in real life. The possibility of such a deep connection between 2 people as portrayed in this movie, is just as real in real life!!!! I have experienced first hand a love just as strong, if not 10,000 times stronger then Noah and Allie's, in real life. The love I speak of is far in the past, but will exist for eternity because its strength is unmeasurable.

@JennyGirl2007 It does, my first love was when I was 14/15 things happened I got sent away to girls school life went on I married once twice 3 x's then said fuck it & decided to be alone, then just weeks later, after 19 years my first love came back to me through a sequence of events now we have been back together for 16 years & are truly in love more each day even the kids from his failed marriage share our love & we all live happily ever after. Leaving US for NZ starting a permaculture school

everytime i hear this song i get chills...It reminds me not to be afraid, take chances, have fun and enjoy living life. to follow your dreams and always accept an opportunity whenever you get the chance because you may never be able to again. "I Hope You Dance" has so many different meanings to me....and this movie just brings me to tears. Thanks :)

I disagree there is real love, Im a mature male that has fallen in and out of love and back again, now days guys are such jerks and want to be cocky and not let true love take place. Real love is blind, its the little things that make you happy with a person..
