Yes Love the series...but once again! yawn, we have English actors as if they were on stage doing Shakespeare. Is this a convention that can't be altered? Well I guess it goes back to Golden Hollywood days...but really, why can't they have a cast of 'Latin' looking actors...for once!!!

Well, what would you rather the actors be? American? Mexican? Hahaaa..no no no, they're best as they are, with lovely English accents. It adds it's own authenticity to the show. I think it'd be hilarious if they were Latins. These are good actors, and the more so because they're English.

@dessert57 Don't think the Romans all looked like Mexicans, they were of all kinds, pretty much like the Italians now, there are a lot of blonde Italians also in Sicily.

unfortunatly it is the end. after the closing point of the series and under Emperor Augustus (octavian)rome entered a period known as Pax Romana where all was pretty much peaceful this lasted well over 100 years so theres not much they could really do for series 3 unless they jumped forward thus losing all the charecters and making what would really be a whole new series. It is a shame as it is fantastic telly!

What the hell? Can you not Read? it is series 2 EPISODES ONE AND TWO!!! I posted this a year ago when these episodes had only just aired in the U.S!!I did this as a spoiler/trailer as i am in the UK but was lucky enough to get hold of them 2 days after U.S air dates! I put this up to give people an idea of what was to come! go the hell away and make your own damn tribute instead of pointless remarks on a video thats title and description you haven't read!

Oh U just wait. The best series HBO ever had. It is a true masterpiece as a series. So cleverly made. These r previews from season 2's first two episodes, but you'll find the first season wraps up quite amazingly.

Octavius is also known as caesar augustus,and he was the second emperator of rome (really first) after caius julius caesar, so there is not mistery octavius is the next one. MarK Anthony will help him to defeat Brutus but then he will be exiled from rome, thats what history says.

Veronus going to die? Don't know, after seeing ep1 series 2, I am slightly more worried for Titus Pullo.

But as he appears to be a good friend of the future Emperor Augustus (Octavian), he might be alright. But then again, back up is only of use when its available, as Julius Caesar would tell you.
