I used to make a fan-game RPG with the rpg maker 2000, but realized that my intention of creating a game was more like megalomania. :) So after 15% of completion I quit .

Wow! This looks good. The only thing that puts me off is the wall jumping. I noticed you didn't do your spin jump in order to wall jump and that doesn't appeal very much to me (hardcore metroid fan). Everything else is great.

@Atma01 It is just to make the wall jump a bit easier to do for some people who have trouble wall jumping. I am personally really good at wall jumping, but some beginners at 2d metroid games might have trouble.

Yeh this is more or less how Metroid 2 shud look, basically like "Zero Mission" but if they released it for 3DS they cud push the graphics even more. Nintendo need 2 update Metroid 2 now becus it wud complete the series perfectly so far, and people cud actually play them all bk-2bk which wud make for 1 great epic adventure, come-on Nintendo!! @starfoxfan123 Yeh I got Super Metroid on Snes also, defo the best one of the series. I think Metroid was the first truly Cinematic video-game, which has set a trend. Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy all followed suit in that cinematic style thanks to Super Metroid.

@j1495bmx that's a great idea for a metroid game, but i have one, too. samus is flying around in space when she is attacked by space pirates and crashes on a nearby planet. this is an ice planet, and the icy air will hurt you a lot (varia and ice suits reduce damage). later on you find that a new mutant breed of ice metroid are born on this planet, and they must be exterminated. but, they are resistant to the ice beam. how will samus exterminate them now!? (hint hint: fire beam)
