@101viva The problem is that Gohan was practically established as the strongest non-fused character in Dragon Ball, and yet in GT he doesn't have his Ultimate powers and is apparently weaker than Vegeta. Plus, everyone except Goku becomes fodder throughout the series, except Vegeta near the end for the Gogeta fusion.

I don't know about "fan complaints" or whatever, but it seemed like the writers of GT just went along with the Goku > Vegeta > everyone hierarchy because they preferred it

Mystic Gohan is the most powerful level that any non pure blooded saiyajin can achieve. Mystic Gohan I would place somewhere between SSJ3 and SSJ4. I would assume only Goku and Vegeta have the capabilities to go SSJ4 because of being full blooded. There is no way to know for certain though, because we've all seen Gohan go oozaru when he was a little kid. Whether or not he would have the capability to control it or not I do not know. I do know that Mystic Gohan is > SSJ3 though.

My theory about the Gohan being able to go SS (which is in no way ever said or clarified during the show) is that in the time that between z and gt his lack of fighting and training basically made him weak like during the world tournament in z during the saiyaman saga, and thus un-doing the years of training and potential unlock that the elder kai gave him, so in order to reach his peak he is forced to transform once again because his base form is pathetic.

Gohan's unlocked inner power isn't a transformation at all. Since he didn't need to transform anymore, he remains in his normal state while using his full power. Being that his full potential at the time was unlocked, he wasn't supposed to go super saiyan again unless he moved past that point, which is what seems to be implied here with the transformation being once again used.

here some reason at the very beginning it was stated by vegeta that saiyan are born a ability that allows them to get stronger by fighting (meaning every fight there in while or lose they get stronger) they also have a second ability that allows there power to increase if they heal from a near dead state wich was proven when vegeta got nearly killed by zarbon and was put into that chamber that healed him and made him stronger
