The Malekko Assmaster is great, but it doesn't do the buzzsaw synthy sound as well as this one does. If I could fit an Assmaster onto my board along with the Blowtorch and my EHX Bass Big Muff, I would.
hum for my opinion there is not a lot of effect for bass, the only intersting sound i heaver heard is the flat sound of the instrument, some chorus or delay, and for distortion and preamp whith DI i prefer the Tech 21 Sansamp Bass driver it sound more impressive and closer like a Gallien Krugger Flea Style with a lot of harmonic but this MXR fuzz is not what i prefer.
its a distortion mate, not a fuzz. nice demo regardless. still havent decided between this and the boss overdrive.

@Direksone The label "distortion" means nothing. Listening to it and watching the EQ peaks clearly shows that it's a synthy fuzz.
