To everyone having a problem:

Make sure in the network settings of ur mac, the ethernet "configure" dropbox is set to "off."

This is so that you just funnel through the internet to your xbox and dont have a "self assigned network" that conflicts with your mac-to-xbox connection.

@wetwilly911 That happened to me too. All I had to do was turn internet sharing off then back on and I got connected on my next try. I have to toggle the setting every time I get on Live, but it does work.

I have a the latest 17" mac book pro with standard operating system that it came with OS X i do not have snow leopard. This is the only way i was able to connect to live with the numbers shown in this video. reseting your ethernet for the mac and box to coincide simply did not work for me so if all else fails THIS IS THE ONE!

Note, these settings will only work if you have your network set up just like this guy. Likely the DNS information is different as well. The concept he is showing with setting the macbook to share the internet correction is correct, but you can't base your xbox settings off of his. You need your own IP and DNS settings.

I'm using an E180 USB modem maybe it's because of this, but i'm meant to be getting up to 3.8 Mb Dl and 3.6 Ul, but only managing to get max 60KB's Dl and around 6KB's Ul which is really bad.
