  • there's no rest for the wicked

  • Did Jacques call the woman "Titty?"

  • Its a Bumb...

  • JE vous ADORE Monsieur Jacques Pepin, Vous ete le MEILLEUR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BRAVO, nous sommes tres chanceux de vous avoir

  • i hate it when she tries to say something like she knows what they are doing like with the egg and the meatloaf but then turns out shes wrong when he sais you could put it in, she just gets in the way, doesnt know what shes doing and doesnt have any skill far better with him by himself, also shes annoying

  • @TheRaulip I'm pretty sure that's his daughter...

  • I'll def. try the bread.

  • I FUCKING HATE IT WHEN HIS CLUMSY, IDIOT DAUGHTER GOES TO THE SHOW...TOTALLY RUINS THE PERFECTION OF IT.

  • @picaridin1 someone's jealous...

  • I like how he cooks but...

He's got too much saliva in his mouth.

  • @DemyGuerriero Dude you salivate when you're around food, he kind of can't help it lol.

  • Definitely the best cooking show I've ever seen.

  • the woman bothers me, she's annoying. she takes away from the relaxing feel when jacques cooks on his own. its almost soothing to watch jacques, but with her, its like this annoying parrot that has to squawk in jacque's ear every so often.

  • Lovely videos. I love the thick board. Somebody knows what's the wood?

  • @inmens The cutting boards are probably Boos blocks or something similar.

  • while i would totally bone the daughter, i would probably murder her if i was working in a kitchen again. she would be in all the places i want to be and will undo everything.

  • Thank you for the flatbread recipe. I saw it on Create, and came here to make sure I had the ingredients correct. We had it with our chicken, veggie and gravy dinner tonight!! :)

  • She loves watching him flip food in the pan.

  • OH my goodnessss this is amazing!!

  • I've always thought that his daughter was a stand-in for us, the viewers. She asks questions that we might have. She's not great with a knife, much like most of us. Plus they're great together.

  • Jacques pepin, ur the best ! I love ur recipes but not ur helper. She looks like she does not know anything. She is heavy on the show. She is very sweet and cute though!

  • @kathyflus it's his daughter you asshole

  • @sleestack808

Excuse me ! u just called me asshole? why ? i know she is his daughter and i wanted to post a comment like everybody else.

Calling me an asshole, ur an asshole jackass! U r a psycho! u r stupid !

To post a comment here, u don't have to insult me like that, but that's because u have no manners.

  • Jacques pepin, ur the best ! I love ur recipes but not ur helper. She looks like she does not know anything. She is heavy on the show.

  • Sometimes she talks when he is giving instructions so we miss on some info in the cooking like here, she talked when he was saying 1 tsp baking......what?

  • I think his helper is his daughter not his wife, ur mistaking!

  • did he say 1 tsp baking powder? 'cause irish soda bread uses baking soda as he said in his video.

Please, can someone tell me if it was baking powder? thanks a lot.

  • she she she she have to go………...

  • that salmon burger looks DELICIOUS. the bread too.

  • She s like a little soldier... a true trooper..I love watchin them cook together...She really knows just when to chime in sometimes savin the recipe lol even though she may be the one causing the distraction. She s lovely.

  • Jacques Pepin's soda bread recipe is an inspiration. So I was, ofcourse, inspired and found, after some experimentation ('fooling around with it', as suggested by Monsieur Pepin), that the secret of this wonderful bread is to fry it slowly, after an initial very high heat, at the lowest heat on your stove, covered, for ten minutes on one side, then flipping the crispy loaf and frying it for ten minutes more, covered, on the other side. Then...as Jacques says...heaven...

  • haha. starting at 6:13 she starts cutting mushrooms. He doesn't even notice and goes to town on like 30 mushrooms in the time she does one. :) Pepin is the pinnacle of cooking.

  • Pepin is boss. Thanks for sharing the episode.

  • What a nice episode. It's lovely to see her enjoying cooking with her dad. What I love about Jacques's show in general is that all the recipes, without fail, look delicious and simple without being too gimmicky. Heck, I have the stuff in my fridge to make this for dinner tomorrow night...and I think I will.

  • It's hard to understand how a 40-yr-old married mother of one (to a chef husband) who grew up in the shadow of a Master Chef dad can seem so clueless about cooking and also has such poor knife skill.

  • @tabibitodotbiz , unless she has to play it like she is new to it. but gosh.. even Lydia Bastianich kids show their knowledge. Not being clueless.

  • bitch I'm your father, if I tell you to put the water into the flour, put the water into the bread, now your grounded, gtfo of the kitchen

  • @saberj2x

joking aside, I hate the shows with a excellent cook and a dumb guy/girl following you like a shadow while cooking

  • I dont like Claudine, she is kind of annoying and just in the way... Sorry to whoever is offended...

  • Claudine adds nothing and detracts much. She should be kept away from her father while he is performing.

  • You add nothing and distract much from these posts. What a grouch.

  • @jtflush She just needs to learn what time is the RIGHT time to speak, and it would be much better if she LEARNED things from her father, instead of just watching him, indicating her doubt, and then doing it HER way. She is actually not that bad in this episode!

  • It's apparent Claudine didn't inherit her Father's natural cooking talents, but she has natural gifts of her own. Namely, she seems to be a great daughter and Mother and a very likeable person. Jaques is at his best, with his daughter by his side.

  • @hernje I agree, I'm sure she has other skills of her own. She doesn't really seem personable to me though, mostly due to the fake-ness, mostly when she seems excited/shocked/amazed/doubful at things her father does while cooking. Actually, I've been watching Jacques for years, and I notice that he sometimes (not most of the time of course) seems quite annoyed at some of the things she says or does (or doesn't do).

  • Best Grandfather ever you can have!!!!!!!

He is too good, especially the deserts!!!!

I also like the french and italian names he has for all the dishes!!!

  • Oh wow !

JP is a fantastic skilled chef and that's all she can say?? Bah!

  • man she is annoying

  • I think they make a great pair and she is very pretty. She may play it a little too innocent sometimes, but I think some viewers may need the questions asked that she is coming up with and it helps to pace the show.Jaques Pepin could probably do the show in half the time needed. It looks like they are using Rumford baking powder.

  • I think Claudine + Jacques is pure entertainment. I totally disagree with previous commenters. She's his perfect foil.

  • does anyone know if he used bread flour or all purpose flour? cuz i tried with ap flour but it didnt realyl turn out well.. still tasted pretty good with all the oil i used T.T

  • powder

  • I agree and I was really wanted to make this dish but she interups him when he is adding either baking soda or powder and now I don't know which one to add to try the bread lol

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • @lunarbay18 Thanks. I wasn't sure if it was baking soda or baking powder.

I guess I could try it both ways.

  • How can Jacques Pepin's daughter know so little about cooking?

  • I have noticed that Jacques and Claudine do not seem to really be in sync in these shows. Not sure why. They must have a good relationship or she would not be on. I think that Jacques is very demanding in the kitchen, no surprise. And it is hard for him to chastise her and not seem mean. They needed to rehearse this show more together so the food preparation went without a hitch.

  • he's not in the "kitchen" really, theres a big difference between a restaurant and a home kitchen, or in this case a tv show

  • I'm sure his daughter is very nice but I can't watch her on this show. The interaction between the two isn't good. It's a little strange that a father and daughter don't have good chemistry on tv.

  • yeh, he is good, but the girl is stupid and annoying

  • This guy is awesome
