hello,im still working with smaller engines,drymix only,nozzle size and grains are a sucess on almost all of the flights,i add small amounts of homemade rust,to much actually reduce burnratio in a dry mix,so very little is needed thank god,it takes time to make, but its the best:)

did you add red iron oxide? if you do it will give you a faster burn, allmost twice as much :)

He should generally be fine with 1%, but we don't know the design of his motor (grains and nozzle) so he can research on Google if he is interested
