  • well if i had no stove. i might give it a try

  • Great little setup but gotta put some wire mesh or chicken wire around the turkey to hold it together. Great video.

  • Love your video!!!

  • i love ur vidsss

  • Nice video!! Looks great.

  • genius got to love redneck inovations

  • Nice job, unique idea too.

  • Hey Gomer, I think that you should credit your brother in Flagstaff, Arizona for using the propane fire starter. It seems to me that he was using one to start the wood stove in his house years before you did. Other than that, I really enjoyed the video. Later, Raptoraddict

  • Great video. I am sending this link to my father (75 years old) living in California. He will really enjoy this. (NOTE: Maybe a little more wire around the bird might keep it together. NOTE 2: A scoop, clam shell shaped device that could wrap around the finished bird might help.

  • Thanks beovp91, and the rest.............

I am going to make something to pick up the bird in the future. I will do an update to show you what I came up with.

Kingsford changed there charcole too, it lights faster, and lasts longer, so this bird was actually a little overcooked. I think 2 hours and 15 min would have been plenty. Poss. even 2 hours. In my next bucket I will cut a hole where the little pop up thing is, with a piece of tin over it attached with a couple of screws

  • you are a genius!

  • looks good ,great idea ,happy thanksgiving gomer
