Stephen Kay is Korg himself. He is the man behind the Karma workstation, hence the name, Karma Alcorythmic Realtime Music Architecture, which was invented and developed by Stephen Kay himself after being hired by Korg as an engineer. This man is not only a professional keyboardist or musician, he is also a musical instruments, both hardware and software, developer and engineer. He is one of the top engineers at Korg.
i guess this leaves Korg Oasys in the dust eh.... cause you could always MIMICK any korg sounds with Neko .... I think Oasys wanted to be this system....initially.
WOW Gen5 looks great......Karma+Mimik on a MIKO means I am saving this year for one.
I have waited for the price to come down.
MIKO LXD 4600
4gig ram a freekin Terrabit drive.......cool.
my only question is do they support Arturia VST's. The software that comes with it is great, but I use and love Arturias minimoogV, CS-80, ect....softsynth's.
dude, its a whole Operating system, so in combination with the stuff already on there (which most likely accepts VSTs) you can also install your own gear then assign all the controls etc
