i didn't see the whole episode yet but from that last scene i don't think Lauren was unsympathetic, this is just to heighten drama. We just need to wait for the coming epis. Though LG will air the 13th epi on 18 Dec and will be back sometime January. Lauren looked so hot in that dress though! wow!

I just dont understand why they cant just let lesbian characters have a happy ending. Just when it was starting to look up for Bo and Lauren, they like ever other show, has to rip all the happiness away. They were a couple with such sexual energy and attraction to each other so it will be very sad to see it end.

I am understanding this right - Lochlin told Bo she couldn't tell Lauren what she had done. Does anyone else think that Lauren didn't deduce that Bo was involved because Lochlin had outright said that he freed Nadia and that is why Lauren makes her pledge at the end? He would have no qualms in taking credit for what someone else did and if Dyson and Trick have both been lead to believe that lifting the curse requires confidentiality, they won't speak either. Bo is being set up to lose control
Folks, try not to panic. Next ep is a mid-season cliffhanger for the Xmas break. And we have seen Bo become that powerful succubus - I suspect that she is being provoked in to losing control again. I agree that the ep writer didn't have a strong grasp on Lauren's character, but that is committee writing for you when the exec. producers don't have good control and keep the characters consistent.

I think I know what writers are doing. They need to decide who Bo will end up with: Lauren or Dyson. Right now they will try to "sell" both couples: Lauren/Nadia and Dyson/Ciara. Which one will work better - will stay. The other person will end up with Bo.

Agree with you guys... At the end of the epi, i was like "WTF!?!". Lauren's character was over the seasons less tortured. She expressed her feelings and seemed more confident. What was that Lauren i barely recognized in this epi?! A floor cloth... She shows no strength whereas "the person (she) absolutely loves" is fighting for the f*cking (dark fae or smthg for sure) girlfriend. The gift thing was fun, but as lauren is kind of hurting bo showing up with nadia, lauren's gift was less than a jok
I'm 100 sure that Bo/Lauren story is FAR from over.
Even I really like Bo in this season and their chemistry with Lauren was awesome, Bo didn't treat Lauren properly in Season 1, and I like to see that now it is Lauren who is choosing.
I also hope that Nadia will appear to be Dark fae or smth like that. That'd be a cool story.
CLG23- we are on the same page. What if Nadia was placed in a coma for having a relationship with a human....better yet what if Nadia is fae and responsible for the plague and the new Ash is using this and the manipulation of Bo as a way to destroy the light fae...just some thoughts

Ugh! This episode was hard to watch. I'm so mad at the writers! Lauren is being a jerk. I kno I kno she doesn't know that it was Bo who risked it all to have Lauren happy. Bo deserves happiness. I wouldn't be as nice, hell have no fury as a succubus scorn! TEAM NEW GIRLFRIEND for BO!
Now that I'm over the shock of how the writers destroyed the credibility and integrity of Lauren's character, I would like to continue my earlier thoughts. The Fae (light and dark) need Lauren for her medical analysis (i.e. fae plague). I knew the previous Ash would be responsible for Nadia, just as I believe the current Ash plotted this whole Nadia wake up to divide Bo and Lauren.

After watching, I was quite angry with Lauren. I know she is in difficult position. But in the party she treats Bo as a nobody. No explanation. No apologies. Bo has to find out from somebody else about Nadia. I will take Bo present and throw the dart on her.

I loathed how the 'wakening' was handled. Here's my wish list for how the episode should have gone: A) Lauren acknowledging to Bo that Nadia's presence at her birthday was awkward during the gift scene.B) Lauren reassuring Bo that the trio can work things out and maybe things won't be so complicated moving forward. (again during gift scene) C) Lauren admitting her feelings for Bo are complicated but not non-existant D) Lauren introducing Nadia to Bo.
Lauren seems to be doing the right thing and going with what she has been wanting for the last five years, you can't just switch your feelings off, as we are constantly reminded with the whole "Bo/Lauren/Dyson scenario...But she has to do her best... acting the way she has around Bo is indicating that she doesn't want Nadia to find and she doesn't want to confuse the situation further... good episode, left a lot yet to be uncovered... Think Nadia might be dark fae or something though!!
Oh, come on!!!! Why did those writers go trough all the trouble of getting the Bo/Lauren storyline, so sensitive, of them being in love, just to get it dashed in one episode!!! Feelings between Bo/Lauren suddenly gone??? Last week, Lauren (almost) confessed to Bo that she loves her, and now, oh, well bring Nadia to the party and let Bo feel even more miserable. Doesn't make sense. I think there will be a catch to it! Hope not Bo and Dyson together!! I don't like it one bit!

In general, if I do not take into account totally faulty Lauren-Nadia-Bo plot, this episode was fun 4. If I DO take into account this plot, I become angry over-analyzing bisexual woman who does not like writers creating and then spoiling one more good girl-on-girl story :) As far as I'm concerned, that can make me stop watchnig the series, even if (see points 1,2,3)

She is just bringing Nadia to the party without even calling Bo before? And then she acts like they were just friends?? N.doesn't need to die, she is just the girl who wanted to take pictures in the Congo on a trip with her gf..and she seems to be really nice..And then L.pledges herself lifelong to the Ash again? I thought she was smart..big failure!!
As far as lauren's reaction and going to Bo's party, I think the writers are trying to rush a story that took way too long to begin with. it made no sense but that is the problem with this show...they are trying to add action(very bad action) at the saccrifice of character continuity...too bad, it could and should have been dealt with much more care and "SENSE" for that matter.this is called VERY LAZY writing.
This reminds me of Buffy...U all know that superheroes R never supposed to find love that lasts...they r too buzy saving others. I'd rather see Bo love and accept herself, have fun sexy times and say WTF...I'm a succubus I can have all the sexy I want :)
I am pretty sure that Lauren is with Nadia just for now. Lauren, of course, is happy to see Nadia (after 5 years!) and this joy, I guess, for a moment prevents her from full understanding of her feelings for Bo.
It's just 12th episode, so it's too early for Lauren/Bo to start living "happily ever after". Writers know that people want to see a story. And I'm sure it'll be interesting!
5) Writers' way to keep the story interesting by making us to wonder about some random stuff like who's Bo's mother / Who's Lauren's Girlfriend / How Nadia looks / What's the catastrophe we're waiting for / Who's the 2-heads Ash / Who's Trick for Bo / Who's the hell that guy with that "what's that gift" gift becomes old and monotonous.
@gradient13 Mostly, because the main scenes responding to these questions, like, Bo/Bo's mother interaction or Bo/L speaking about N and especially L/N behaviour after N's wake up are deceiving by their lack of credibility and/or feelings. You know, I'm waiting for the climax of the mistery resolution, it's coming to that, and right at the moment... there is nothing!.. You understand me, girls, it's deceiving. ;)

Now she just shows up at the B-day party with Nadia like nothing ever happened. Not even a word!! Not even feeling uncomfortable when seeing Bo again. And Bo pretends she's strong and accepts all this. While we all know that Bo is hoping for more. She has a crush on Lauren, clearly!!
@calliegrey Exactly! They should have shown all this. But it seems that they skived off writing or playing compex scenes. Might be, they thought that for the main stream auditory these scenes are not so important and so should be skipped. What did we get instead? "Oh, good, you're awake! I've been longing for this for 5 years, lets go party! By the way, lets spoil this party by your presence and my indifference!"

I'ld also like to say: 1) characters' inconsistency between the episodes, and even within 5-minutes intervals is very regrettable 2) Anna Silk knows to play pain, it's good 3) Weapon gifts were funny 4) Strong Lauren is better than screaming one

OK, I've seen N, and how L kissed her, and Bo's face in the tank-room, and I wanted L to be with Bo. N is a stranger that does not fit there. At least, for the moment. I'ld like N and L understand that they aren't at the same page now, that L is still attached to B, and I'ld like N going away. But I don not want any more B/L hesitation. Just be together! It's really starting to be boring. Anyway, for the 3rd season they should find a stable configuration and solve some other problems than that.
Did I not name it or what....I knew they needed Lauren more than the other way around. Now to figure out what the new Ash is up to. Now to finish watching.
Oh, and no offence to the woman playing Nadia but, I want Nadia to die. Lauren is enslaved in exchange for Nadia's life, so if that life ends then so does the bargain. And I want my Bo/Lauren passion and chemistry back. Seeing Bo being tortured and miserable is becoming a little too sadistic to my tastes. The fans keep saying what they want. This isn't it.
Still, mid-season finale before Xmas hiatus next week. I expect a cliffhanger.
Grumble. This show suffers from committee writing with no unified vision. Where was the nuanced and conflicted Lauren who was clearly torn between Nadia and Bo? And why does Lauren not even ask "did you do this?" It has to be obvious that Bo was involved and while Bo cannot say, that Lauren doesn't even question seems odd. Some writers seem Lauren-positive and give her more layers and motivations, and some really don't seem to like her.

Agree with you guys... At the end of the epi, i was like "WTF!?!". Lauren's character was over the seasons less tortured. She expressed her feelings and seemed more confident. What was that Lauren i barely recognized in this epi?! A floor cloth... She shows no strength whereas "the person (she) absolutely loves" is fighting for the f*cking (dark fae or smthg for sure) girlfriend. The gift thing was fun, but as lauren is kind of hurting bo showing up with nadia, lauren's gift was less than a jok

I'm 100 sure that Bo/Lauren story is FAR from over.
Even I really like Bo in this season and their chemistry with Lauren was awesome, Bo didn't treat Lauren properly in Season 1, and I like to see that now it is Lauren who is choosing.
I also hope that Nadia will appear to be Dark fae or smth like that. That'd be a cool story.

CLG23- we are on the same page. What if Nadia was placed in a coma for having a relationship with a human....better yet what if Nadia is fae and responsible for the plague and the new Ash is using this and the manipulation of Bo as a way to destroy the light fae...just some thoughts
However, I do have to say if the writers continue to have the characters contradict themselves, it will cause me to stop watching the show. One can definitely tell a change in writers or a horrible redirection.

Ugh! This episode was hard to watch. I'm so mad at the writers! Lauren is being a jerk. I kno I kno she doesn't know that it was Bo who risked it all to have Lauren happy. Bo deserves happiness. I wouldn't be as nice, hell have no fury as a succubus scorn! TEAM NEW GIRLFRIEND for BO!

Now that I'm over the shock of how the writers destroyed the credibility and integrity of Lauren's character, I would like to continue my earlier thoughts. The Fae (light and dark) need Lauren for her medical analysis (i.e. fae plague). I knew the previous Ash would be responsible for Nadia, just as I believe the current Ash plotted this whole Nadia wake up to divide Bo and Lauren.

After watching, I was quite angry with Lauren. I know she is in difficult position. But in the party she treats Bo as a nobody. No explanation. No apologies. Bo has to find out from somebody else about Nadia. I will take Bo present and throw the dart on her.

F) Lauren and Nadia having a brief recap of what has happened over the last 5 years. My predictions: mid-season finale is Bo risks herself to find a way to free Lauren from the Ash risks death. I loathed how the 'wakening' was handled. Here's my wish list for how the episode should have gone: A) Lauren acknowledging to Bo that Nadia's presence at her birthday was awkward during the gift scene.B) Lauren reassuring Bo that the trio can work things out and maybe things won't be so complicated moving forward. (again during gift scene) C) Lauren admitting her feelings for Bo are complicated but not non-existant D) Lauren introducing Nadia to Bo.

Lauren seems to be doing the right thing and going with what she has been wanting for the last five years, you can't just switch your feelings off, as we are constantly reminded with the whole "Bo/Lauren/Dyson scenario...But she has to do her best... acting the way she has around Bo is indicating that she doesn't want Nadia to find and she doesn't want to confuse the situation further... good episode, left a lot yet to be uncovered... Think Nadia might be dark fae or something though!!

Oh, come on!!!! Why did those writers go trough all the trouble of getting the Bo/Lauren storyline, so sensitive, of them being in love, just to get it dashed in one episode!!! Feelings between Bo/Lauren suddenly gone??? Last week, Lauren (almost) confessed to Bo that she loves her, and now, oh, well bring Nadia to the party and let Bo feel even more miserable. Doesn't make sense. I think there will be a catch to it! Hope not Bo and Dyson together!! I don't like it one bit!

I think the writers are trying to make Laren's character unsympathetic because they have always planned on getting Bo and Dysen back together. they did not expect that so many fans would start shipping Doccubus,so what do they do? Give her a g/f and make her treat Bo like crap so we won't get mad.Well I'm mad that the writers are doing this to Lauren's character, if you have noticed they have not done that to Dysen.I think they've sold out to the American SyFy channel and turned LG BORING/TAME

Before getting back to my life today, I'ld like to say some more :) 1. I like Trick very much 2. Peggy and her agency were cool 3. In general, if I do not take into account totally faulty Lauren-Nadia-Bo plot, this episode was fun 4. If I DO take into account this plot, I become angry over-analyzing bisexual woman who does not like writers creating and then spoiling one more good girl-on-girl story :) As far as I'm concerned, that can make me stop watchnig the series, even if (see points 1,2,3)

As much as I love Lauren I start to believe that she suffers from double personality syndrome...well how else could I explain her ''I love you bo and tell me this is not you getting over Dyson and I'm not a servant to the Ash anymore'' attitude to the ''I don't give a s**t about you Bo and I bring to YOUR birthday party my resuscitated gf and I am a for-life servant of the Ash'' attitude..well Lauren I still love you, that's why I'm suggesting you go and see a doctor to bring the real you back!

Lauren loves Bo. Nadia wakes up. Lauren loves Nadia and magically forgets her love for Bo and becomes the Ash's slave once again. Oh, AND she brings Nadia to Bo's party. Could the writers be more insensitive? And the last scene with her and Ash-hole was just plain creepy.

As far as lauren's reaction and going to Bo's party, I think the writers are trying to rush a story that took way too long to begin with. it made no sense but that is the problem with this show...they are trying to add action(very bad action) at the saccrifice of character continuity...too bad, it could and should have been dealt with much more care and "SENSE" for that matter.this is called VERY LAZY writing.

I loved that we finally saw Lauren in dress! She is like .. WOW!
And even I am huge Bo/Lauren fan, Lauren kissing and hugging a girl was hot!
But last scene was SAD. I hope Lauren will kill the Ash after she finds out that he lied to her, and it was Bo who saved Nadia.

That was a sad episode, but somehow - promising.
I am pretty sure that Lauren is with Nadia just for now. Lauren, of course, is happy to see Nadia (after 5 years!) and this joy, I guess, for a moment prevents her from full understanding of her feelings for Bo.
It's just 12th episode, so it's too early for Lauren/Bo to start living "happily ever after". Writers know that people want to see a story. And I'm sure it'll be interesting!

@gradient13 Mostly, because the main scenes responding to these questions, like, Bo/Bo's mother interaction or Bo/L speaking about N and especially L/N behaviour after N's wake up are deceiving by their lack of credibility and/or feelings. You know, I'm waiting for the climax of the mistery resolution, it's coming to that, and right at the moment... there is nothing!.. You understand me, girls, it's deceiving. ;)

@gradient13 I understand you! They should have shown the happiness of Lauren for Nadia waking up but at the same time they should have shown Lauren being confused when seeing Bo. Now she just shows up at the B-day party with Nadia like nothing ever happened. Not even a word!! Not even feeling uncomfortable when seeing Bo again. And Bo pretends she's strong and accepts all this. While we all know that Bo is hoping for more. She has a crush on Lauren, clearly!!

Might be, they thought that for the main stream auditory these scenes are not so important and so should be skipped. What did we get instead? "Oh, good, you're awake! I've been longing for this for 5 years, lets go party! By the way, lets spoil this party by your presence and my indifference!"

@gradient13 I'm afraid they start Dyson hooking up with Bo again. Probably it will take a new love interest for Bo to have Lauren realize that she should be with Bo and not Nadia. And maybe they will drag this on to the end of the season before Lauren and Bo will talk about this. Does anyone know if the actress who plays Nadia is to stay on the show?

OK, I've seen N, and how L kissed her, and Bo's face in the tank-room, and I wanted L to be with Bo. N is a stranger that does not fit there. At least, for the moment. I'ld like N and L understand that they aren't at the same page now, that L is still attached to B, and I'ld like N going away. But I don not want any more B/L hesitation. Just be together! It's really starting to be boring. Anyway, for the 3rd season they should find a stable configuration and solve some other problems than that.

Oh, and no offence to the woman playing Nadia but, I want Nadia to die. Lauren is enslaved in exchange for Nadia's life, so if that life ends then so does the bargain. And I want my Bo/Lauren passion and chemistry back. Seeing Bo being tortured and miserable is becoming a little too sadistic to my tastes. The fans keep saying what they want. This isn't it.
Still, mid-season finale before Xmas hiatus next week. I expect a cliffhanger.

Grumble. This show suffers from committee writing with no unified vision. Where was the nuanced and conflicted Lauren who was clearly torn between Nadia and Bo? And why does Lauren not even ask "did you do this?" It has to be obvious that Bo was involved and while Bo cannot say, that Lauren doesn't even question seems odd. Some writers seem Lauren-positive and give her more layers and motivations, and some really don't seem to like her.
