@Helenhealer But at the time, do you think that "Ereshkigal" was Inanna herself, or her "sister" as it says in the tablets? Did the two ladies exchange some sort of attributes, or is it just metaphorical for what Inanna sings of herself, that she COULD be that cynical and manipulative? I know anyone can play whichever role in history.

I'm struck by how the ancestors had viewed fertility, sexuality and romance, Helen. The modern world has lost so much of a sense of sacredness to these very human aspects. Clearly, it's something you've held on to in your life and that is to be highly praised in my mind.

As with Egypt, the modern world however thinks our ancestors were crocodile-worshippers or something, when in fact they were talking about parallellism and Cosmic Forces. "Free Love" likewise refers, not to sleeping around needing external confirmation of your beauty, but to Unconditional Love which simply is, and gives everything.
