Quite serious indeed. As you surely know, ther is great debate about the Illyrian question. I personally believe that Albanians are the direct descendents of Illyrians, themselves the direct descendents of Palasgians. There is almost certainly common blood between Albanians and all other white Europeans, who come from a common stock. My problem was with the pan-Slavic comments above, which try to undermine Albanian ethnic identity and "move" their place of origin from the "Slavic Balkans".

Quite serious indeed. As you surely know, ther is great debate about the Illyrian question. I personally believe that Albanians are the direct descendents of Illyrians, themselves the direct descendents of Palasgians. There is almost certainly common blood between Albanians and all other white Europeans, who come from a common stock. My problem was with the pan-Slavic comments above, which try to undermine Albanian ethnic identity and "move" their place of origin from the "Slavic Balkans".

These dresses are 100% albanian from region of rugova. The men here have the scarf as protection because they live in very high altitude in rugova mountains in ksovo, where the sun is very strong during summer and its very cold during winter.
