  • I had this in 1959 or 60, on 45 RPM. I think that it had a pink WB label. I thought that Elmer Fudd sang a verse? I'll keep searching. Thanks!

  • As I remember, Golden Records were undersized (only 5 inches in diameter), which is why this song is so short.

They also were made of yellow plastic, as can be seen here; thus the name "Golden".

  • Nope, that isn't Mel Blanc's voice- he was under exclusive contract to Capitol records for their "official" Bugs Bunny releases at the time (THIS guy's an "impersonation", despite the label's claim). Golden began issuing "78" (and 45) singles featuring popular Warner Bros. cartoon characters in 1954- I've heard "Sylvester the Cat" from 1955, and despite Warner's cartoon writers Warren Foster and Tedd Pierce writing the song, HE'S a "sound-alike", too.

  • What's Up Doc?

    どったの?

  • Dude, where was this released? I never heard of this before.

  • @bigmacsama It was released in the U.S. on the children's record shown in the video, circa 1955.

  • @boyjohn Oh okay then :D
