hey guys im kinda lost, im on moonbase... and apparantly if i recurit peppita i cant get nel??? can i get nel and peppita?? or can i just only get peppita?

There are four optional characters: Nel, Peppita, Roger, and Albel. Of them, you can recruit two. Whoever rescues you at Kirlsa Training Center (Nel, Roger, or Albel) will be your first optional party member. Then, at Moonbase, you can either recruit Peppita for your second, or reject her to recruit another of Nel/Roger/Albel once you can visit Elicoor again.

Nel is probably "better" (in damage potential) than Albel though both get surpassed later on. That said, you can't go wrong with either of them so just pick the one you like more.

Albel and nel in the same party makes for some insane damage.

stun em wih an aura wall combo and use nels whirlwind.

Mm, I like it though. If ya have the extra money and like the power that comes along, it's pretty wicked.

Also combos btw, but can I ask why'd you use those three to fight? Just curious. ^^

It's just that there are much more effective ways of maxing ATK without having to waste money on Orichalcum or using up weapon factor slots. They also completely overpower you for the main game, while being almost useless during post-game.

Albel and Cliff were used to stunlock the enemy (Aura Wall and Fists of Fury) while Peppita unleashes her ownage. This video was basically made to show how you can easily micromanage between Peppita/Albel/another character with this combo.

One of my tatics in the Maze of Tribulations is to use Albel with dragon roar or Roger with land mines to supress the enemies, while I keep Cliff with uppercut on beserk or Fayt with air raid to do the damage. With numerous enemies it is more wise to use Sophia with chained spells or Adray with quick symbol to do wide damage to all enemies with laser beams, which I believe is the best indiscriminate wide attack spells.
