  • Difficulty: Asian

  • well done!

  • the focus!!

  • Wow and hes not asain o.O

  • my personal favorite version of this

  • Oh my God! I love how it shows the audience clapping! Best part!

  • omg.. i love the dynamics! fantastic performance

  • thats one tight piano fuck me looks like it's speed up

  • Wow !

  • No no, Yuja is much better)

  • @MrFortepianist everybody has personal preference

  • @lhrmeonom I agree.

  • @deathnest94 as much as i dislike langlang's playing, he is a pro, and will always be better than most of us here. hence why he gets paid for what he does.

  • Holy Santa Clause Shit, I was happy when i larned to play snake charmer O_o

  • Bravo!

  • haha wow! thats wicked good i wish i could play like that! ;)

  • yuja's version is better

  • Mr. Gyorgy. A success under pressure. Well done! It was very good, very clean. Composer would be very proud.

  • Bravo!

    Nagyon tetszik!

  • Can you tell me where the mistakes are? Like which minute/second, and which bars in the music they correspond to? Cause I can't find discernable mistakes in both versions.

  • hey this is Maksims vershion

  • He plays clearly, but he plays it slowly. He plays fat bees flying. ;-)

  • @silverbud well bumblebees are fatter then regular bees lol.

  • I think he plays better than Maksim. The tempo is just right for me. I've just saw how Maksim played the same music and it's only showing off his great technique and speed, and I cannot enjoy the music at all. Bravo Adam.

  • Brings back memories. Ugly memories. Nasty, filthy memories. Still a nice piece though.

  • Omgggeezz! I think I've got his autograph! Yeah! If I didn't rem wrongly, it's him!

    ~whhhheeeeeee!

    ;D

  • They clap in sync because that's like the ultimate "Bravo", it means it was great and they want to hear again...

  • better than maksim

  • the best ever,,,

  • listening.. this is a really good performance.. i'm smiling at the second comment here.. to the guy who thinks it's shit.. i just need to say his playing is a million times better than your spelling!!! and i can't wait to see your video of you playing this 'not even that hard' piece of music (!)

  • his hands are faster than the camera

  • His fingers are faster than the camera. His hands are barely moving :P

  • YEah haha "He makes it look so easy" XD

  • @focronos Even an 10.000 fps camera cant caught his fingers.

  • nice best bumble bee i've ever heard.

  • I AGREE ABSULUTELY EXCELLENT***

  • Excelente delicadeza a la hora de tocar!

    Excelente pieza!

    Excelente pianista!

  • Best bumble bee I've ever heard :D

  • ahh common guys, pro pianist has their own style, so stop squabbling over whos better than who, one thing for sure is that Maksim, Adam Gyorgy , Lang Lang, n etc ...theyre all under one category...PRO !!

  • so true!

  • GOOD CALL

  • @stereosound321 lang lang is not under pro's ....

  • @stereosound321 you put maksim in the mix, lol that's funny.

It's Lang Lang, Jung Lin and Hamelin, then Adam G. who is really good here, better than Yuja.

  • @JDL615 Gyorgy is playing the original version here, Yuja played the showpiece version (arr. by Cziffra), how can you compare the two?

  • @stereosound321 maksim and bang bang? they wouldnt qualify to turn his pages if he had any

  • lol why did the audience's clapping start going in sync?

  • Thay do that often because that´s a sigh of playing it again, or it was something like that:P Sounds a bit retarded xD

  • It sounded totaly weird :p

  • In Hungary they call it "iron clap" usually the performer comes back for an ancore ... or many ancores :-) It is magnificent feeling to listen to something so exciting that you don't want to quit and need to hear some more ...

  • haha.....can you not be both or something?

  • awesome

  • Interesting - I never imagined it played with pedal. I personally prefer it without pedal, though with the dynamic kept extremely quiet.

I still prefer Rachmaninoff's piano roll, personally, and doubt I'll find any better recording very soon.

  • hey hes playing maxims song (Lol)

  • we receive one image on twenty -.-

  • You just can't compare that with maksim's rendition - it's SO much more musical, accurate, convicting and fluttering. Brilliant guy - never heard of him before!

  • I couldn't agree more. But apparently... there are a lot maksim fan boys out there who can't take the truth.

Maksim is good, but he definitely isn't the only pianist in this world. Wake up people.

  • Omg, how to compare Maksim with Gyorgy. Maksim is the entertainer pianist , Gyorgy is pro pianist.

    Yes, wake up people

  • Well done. Much better than Maksim's rendition. It is clean and almost flawless. Very refreshing.

  • Agreed. Sure Makism has the technique but I never liked his rendition. If I were completely honest (and bold), the only thing that makes Maksim's bumblebee good is his fame.

  • yea maksim has the prestige and the reputation for playin this particular piece, even though this guy does it just as well lol

  • valaki nem tudná elküldeni nekem a kottáját vagy egy linket vagy valamit ?

could somone please send me this sheet or the link ?

  • He lives in our town. I used to play football with Adam when i was younger. He is great man. We are proud to him.

  • maxim plays it much faster

  • WHO CARES

  • U so wrong pour really pour

  • Sorry, what are we pouring?

  • 0:40 this might be a little mistake. Just listen. It seems that relations between tones in previous, lower chord aren't the same like relations in this higher chord.

  • you're right!

  • Woow! ;D

  • nice nice nice!!

  • For some reason, I liked this better than Maksim's rendition (even though they're essentialy the same). Maybe it's because Maksim's too flamboyant...? Anyway, very nice. I didn't hear him miss a single note.

  • I agree, I thought that Maksim's was a bit too erratic (and although I guess that's sort of the point of the "flight" of a bumblebee, I mean erratic in a way that makes it less harmonious somehow, and flows much less pleasingly) It was a bit too self-aware I thought aswell, I prefer this one.

  • he copyed maksim but he did it very well

  • this isn't maksim piece, we all know that

  • where to find this sheet?

  • music store.

  • I know but than i hav the sheet is just tat it doesnt sound like a original sheet ...

  • you have to buy the rachmaninov arrangement.

  • Ohh now i know haha i got the rachmaninov arrangement now thx

  • good luck.

  • Great playing. This is a very demanding piece. I post my version of this piece too :), it would be great if you could watch it and write your opinion. Just search for falvb and just view flight of the bumblebee new.

  • Beteg ez a kis dongócska,mert nagyon kevés !!

  • Inmediatamente se oye que es un profesional..... :)

  • slow?? are you out of your mind?

    anyway yeah weird clappers

  • why do they clap liek that/

  • ......said the expert.lol

  • there seem to be no technical errors... there could be more speed and energy put into the playing. This song can be quite energetic when played just right.

  • well played.. just a little slow

  • no mistakes doesn't make it perfect

  • No but to ply it perfectly one can't make any mistakes

  • Look at KISSIN's version !!!!!!!

  • well played.

  • just look how concentrated he is... the artist i mean, not the cold man x)

  • wow gfreat job...=] at 1:55 look at the right hand side lower part of the video and keep replaying..lol its quite funny...=]

  • lol ! I tried that, shit it was funny xD

  • lmao u need to get something to keep u busy xD

  • Superb technique!

  • Well played.

Because of the camera angle he looks too big for the piano.

  • That was amazing :)

  • Incredible he play it perfectly;no mistakes.

  • WOW, Half of the video is the audience claping...

  • wow!!! es realmente genial

  • he plays is sooo well omg lol

  • great hand job :D

  • magnifico

  • like half the vid is them all clapping lol

  • All i could say is that he played it wonderfully....and I sort of imagined those bees flying attacking something

    Ha.....great job

  • I can picture a bumblebee flying, thats all I have to say

  • haha, this guy plays it AWESOME!!!

  • Great! People play it to fast, he plays it wonderfully...

  • I wonder if this piece could actually be dubbed as an etude.

  • Does anyone have the sheet music for that? Please tell me, I'd rather like trying to play that piece! It's amazing and he played it very good!

  • What is the original key that Rachmaninoff played???

  • he is just..kinda not fast enough, though i should praise him can manage not to break his wrist after playing this hard song

  • this is the best version i've listened and watched ... so delicate, i saw the Bumble Bee hahahaha... really really beautiful and the speed was absolutely perfect ...

    bravo ¡¡¡

  • Absolutly beautiful

  • He should.

  • He should go into "Hall of Symphony"!

  • I totally agree!

  • omg! unbelivable! great!

  • bravo bravo

  • why is the audience clapping in unison?

  • It's for asking another bis.

  • idk

  • great hall of liszt academy??

  • very very very good esecution!!

  • why do you keep saying esecution?

  • N I C E.

  • slower than maksim.. i think maksim's bumble bee's the best

  • Its not always about how fast it is.

  • Yes it is

  • no it's not.

  • Great Sounding piano, damn that song looks hard. Hes got skills

  • Do you guys realize that when the people are clapping, it starts off sounding totally random, but then slowly it starts turning into a synchronized clap? Listen to the clapping... You'll get what i'm talking about.

It's a kind of telepathy, when you're so empathetic to others in a social situation, that you subconciously go with the flow, then the flow calms down, and you sound like one giant clap, rather than multiple different speeds of clapping (how it is in the beginning).

    Kinda cool IMO

  • nagyon komoly ez a videó, riszpekt érte mindenképp ;)

  • isa pang nakakagago :D :D :D

  • you should learn the Rachmaninoff Version, its the one he played

  • Yeah, in my opinion the Rach. transcription is better than the Korsakov. Plus, the mano sinistra at the beginning is fun :D

  • Probably sets a speed record, but still so graceful and elegant! Fab-U-loso!

  • awesome steady tempo. sounds like a midi file just the way i like it :)))

  • I believe this music have 37 pages in partiture, but the tempo makes the music last just 1:10 LOL

  • 37 page, what? naww

  • I'm joking ;)

  • try like 5-6

  • Is he jewish?

  • I wish I cud do 0:36 - 0:37 as smoothe as him.

  • try fingering it 1.2.3.4 ( with 1 on the E, 2 on the F, 3 on the E for the second time and 4 on the Dsharp) that's much easier

  • i wish!! oh i wish i cud

  • Much finger dexterity is needed to play this piece. Clearly Gyorgy is a fantastic master of this art, and i wouldnt have anything to complain about in how he performed this piece.

One of the things i struggle with the most in this piece is keeping the tempo, and also playing Fast AND Light. How about you?

  • yea but the way i got around it is to instead of come down on the keys with your finders, flick your finger in kinda of a wave motion at the key.

Kinda hard to describe lol. But it worked for me.

  • actually...now that i think of it,that actually sounds like the smart thing to do. thanks for that tip.

  • woah! he's a good drummer!!

  • lol

  • silver dont bother the reason y they do tht is b/c they dont hav a talent or a lif infact so they hav to make it look lik ppl who r amzin r peices of crap wen it is rlly thm

  • Please ....please...please...write in INGLISH or something like a read-able language!!!

  • ok i will silver dont bother the reason why they do that is beacuse the dont have a talent or a life infact so they have to make it look lik people who are amazing r peices of crap when it is rlly thm. did i type to fast????????

  • english you mean?

  • no person should be able to move their fingers that fast!

  • Jeeze... I've looked through all the comments now and WTF?!? About 60% of these comments are from people fighting, arguing and insulting others. Almost 20% are from people who comment the GOD DAMN CLAPPING! 15% of the comments are peple who complain about the music. Speed, mistakes etc. And so only about 5% are people who comments that this is beautiful and REALLY well-played. Stop being so childish and at least try to keep to the subject; the playing!!!

  • but if you look at his neck you can see how tense he is

  • I'm impressed. His fingers looks so relaxed.

  • Genius!

    Thats Perfect!

Look at my fathers Piano Medley under the keyword "Sepp Zink Piano". It sounds different. But you will like it!

    Have a nice day!

  • i like that song i wish i could play the piano i want to learn Danse Macabre

  • this tiki767 guy is so...that he thinks that just practicing the chromatic scales anyone can master this piece after two months of practicing, even if you don´t know how to play, jajajajajajaaaaa...

  • What is the key of this piece??????????

Who had a copy of the piece of the flight of the bumblebee????

    please reply

  • I think he made more mistakes than Maksim but I definitely like this better.

  • Who the hell are you?

  • uh I didn't realize there was anything wrong with what I said?

  • Yeah,so who the hell are you?

  • uh... just some guy.

  • poor you..

  • And who exactly are you then?

  • Who the hell are you?

  • amazing! jó hallgatni : )

  • Adam gyorgy looks like Rachmaninov......

..well at least plays the same tempo as him!

  • wow people get good credit for mastering

    their GOD given gift :)

    nice

  • Lol what's with the clapping?

  • honestly, he made a lot of mistakes. good technique though. to the 'naked ear' it soudns perfect, but if you actually have played piano and the song for several years, you can hear the small mistakes throughout the piece.
