Do Anteaters produce any sound? or are they "silent" ? here in Argentina they are in the wild though I don't know much about them.

Adult Giant anteaters usually don`t make sounds. When they do it is mostly when they are young; Most communication occurs between young and their mothers or during fighting and the sound is a high-pitched, shrilly grunt noise
