Word has it Chaz P. told Dinero had a few people in mind to be characters in this movie,... so they just pull up to a place where Palierno(sp) remembered from his childhood and there stood the same old guy with the paper trying to figure out an angle on ballgames and the track,,..anyways Robert Dinero called him over to the window of the window and asked him if he would be in the movie,.. he said "Yeah ,Sure" then went back to numbers bussiness.

@pinoypride321 Hey be sure to check out a lessr known movie called Mean Streets, it's sort of like a prequel to Goodfellas,...sort of ,.. Johnny Roastbeef in GoodFellas was a real wise guy in real life. Gotti was a loud mouth showboat punk, still a 2 bit car thief in a suit, he never really went throufg the ranks.

I have to agree with the two top comments above the best movie ever made at the very least at the top with Godfather and Titanic the best of cinema and Hollywood. Oh god we all should ask ourselves whats happened to cinema and film now well I'll tell you one theory why its gone down the pan: anyone can make a film with camcorders now cheap you get a lot of crap movies being made and another theory is that make a movie and people will still watch as people are suckers plus times have changed sad!
