if they wanted to make these animals seem real at a MUSIC FESTIVAL they should have used different types of eyeliner and also the animals are paralyzed for some reason

For your information, this one of the several videographic leitmotivs of this year's Sónar 2008. These creatures form part of the image that the festival wants to transmit, about the 'hybridization' of music genres...and these videos are but just a metaphor for it...
